Dancing with the Stars Season 10: Week 3 Results Show Recap - Live Blog!
My Blog Will Be Updated Throughout the Show - Mostly at Commercials - to Keep You in the Loop of Tonight's Episode!
Who's Left?
10 stars performed last night with Evan taking the top spot (mostly because Nicole and Derek broke the rules and didn't really do a quick step. Besides that swap, the rest of the stars are still in about the same order as last week.
- Evan Lysacek with Anna Trebunskaya - 26/30
- Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough - 23/30
- Erin Andrews with Maksim Chmerkovskiy - 23/30
- Pamela Anderson with Damian Whitewood - 21/30
- Jake Pavelka with Chelsie Hightower - 21/30
- Niecy Nash with Louis Van Amstel - 21/30
- Chad Ochocinco with Cheryl Burke - 20/30
- Aiden Turner with Edyta Sliwinska - 20/30
- Kate Gosselin with Tony Dovolani - 15/30
- Buzz Aldrin with Ashly Costa - 13/30
Now on with the Show!
Brooke said the votes tonight were as unpredictable as last week, so I guess we can safely assume Kate isn't going home :( This show sucks! But I'll still watch it tonight at least! The first couples safe right off the start were Aiden and Edyta and Erin and Max.
Tonight the judges choose to see Evan and Anna's performance today since it wowed them last night. They didn't seem to be as into it though, I liked it better last night.
Reba McEntire was the first entertainment of the night singing "I wanna cowboy" and she was accompanied by 4 of the pros. She'll be back later with another song. But first - more results! The next couples that were safe was Niecy and Louis. Still no one in the bottom two.
Derek and Chelsie performed a Paso Doble to an acoustic guitar performance by Mark Ballas which included two other musicians. Derek even played the guitar for a bit at the start of the dance. The music sounded great and the dance really went well with it. They should do different styles of music like this more often because the same old band gets boring sometimes. The audience gave them a standing ovation and it was well deserved.
Bruno announced that next week they were going to really mix it up. Each dance would receive one score for technique and one for performance. In addition, there would be specific moves the judges want to see in each dance. I really like that they are giving the dancers these challenges each week! I hope they keep it up because it makes it way more entertaining.
Let's save another couple! It's Nicole and Derek that get to breath a sigh of relief but the others will have to wait until after another few commercial breaks (and much more filler!) Reba came back after commercial to sing another song with Lacey Schwimmer and Dmitry Chaplin performing on the ballroom floor.
Melissa Rycroft did a bit about the audience and interviewed some of the people who were waiting to see the show last night. She took us through security and it was kind of funny to see all these people dressed up fancy and going through security. Apparently the audience is seated at 6:30 PM even though the show doesn't start until 8 PM Live. That's a long time to be sitting around waiting. I think I'll stick to watching from the comfort of my couch :)
Two more couples get to relax now. Evan and Anna were declared safe along with Chad and Cheryl. Four stars remain including Buzz, Pam, Jake and Kate. Based on what Brooke said at the start of the show, I'm guessing Pam goes home, which will be disappointing because Kate needs to go! Let's hope I'm wrong.
They showed us a bit of behind the scenes and how all the stars get along since they practice near each other and live in trailers near each other. Niecy is so funny all the time, giving all the thin people cookies and donuts :) Erin and Nicole get along great and have a lot of fun. Erin and Kate text each other.... but yeah who cares about Kate.
Pamela and Damian were told they were safe so yay it looks like I was wrong in my prediction. Now I'm really hoping Jake doesn't go home because I like Chelsie!! There's not that much time left so it looks like we will find out right after the next commercial break.
Finally we get to find out the bottom two! Jake had the highest score of the three with 21 points and Buzz had the lowest. However Buzz is a nice guy so I just know people voted for him. The first couple in the bottom two was Buzz and Ashly. The audience booed, but that's fair! The second couple in the bottom two was Jake and Chelsie! Oh my gosh who is voting for Kate! She didn't even look happy to be safe and then she did a fake faint which was so lame. GET RID OF HER VOTERS!!!
Len said he was surprised by the bottom two because he was sure America would vote for Buzz and thought Jake was a good entertainer. The couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars tonight was Buzz and Ashly. Well at least that is better than Jake leaving, but it's not better than Kate leaving. Buzz Aldrin was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars but Kate Gosselin survives another week! Please people, stop voting for Kate!

Post a CommentI totally missed this episode - don't know why, I just forgot what night it was! Thanks for all the insider info :)
I agree, but people are either saving her for drama, or saving her because they feel sorry for her.
I sure hope Kate's number gets called next week! The little bit I've seen of her dancing is awful!
