Dancing with the Stars' Season 11 Contestants Revealed (August 30, 2010-ABC)

ABC's Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) revealed contestants for their season 11 show during tonight's episode of The Bachelor Pad.

The twelve contestants are not new to an audience. Actors, singers, athletes...all have found their way to the DWTS' stage. However, one of the most surprising picks was Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol.

The men

David Hasselhoff: No stranger to the spotlight, Hasselhoff's entertainment career has crossed music, film, and television. Baywatch put him in the international spotlight after he began in daytime soaps and then starred in Knight Rider. He was recently replaced by Howie Mandel on America's Got Talent. Hasselhoff also is active in non-profits, Wounded Warriors and Wheels for Humanity.

Kurt Warner: Quarterback and NFL MVP Kurt Warner is the first QB to compete on DWTS. He led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 1999. He was voted to four Pro Bowls. Kurt and his wife, Brenda (parents to seven children), have dedicated their lives to promote Christian values and inspire others by starting non-profit charity, First Things First Foundation.

Kyle Massey: Actor and rapper Kyle Massey is the youngest competitor for season 11. He stars as Cory Baxter in Disney's sitcom, Cory in the House, a spin-off of That's So Raven. He has also had singing and voiceover roles, and has appeared in many commercials. Kyle is an avid golfer, and placed third in the White House Golf Tournament. Feed the Children is Kyle's charity organization choice.

Michael Bolton: Multiple Grammy winner Best Male Vocalist has sold more than 53 million records, and has a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. Singer and songwriter, he has performed and written for a diverse group of artists including KISS, Lady Gaga, Luciano Pavarotti, Ray Charles, and many more. Bolton's foundation, named for him, supports women and children in domestic violence situations.

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino: Best known for his starring role in MTV's Jersey Shore. He has a background in personal training and fitness modeling. He has several projects in the works, including a book, Here's the Situation, will be in bookstores in November. He is also due to release a fitness DVD, and a vitamin product before the end of the year.

Rick Fox: Former Boston Celtic and Los Angeles Laker Rick Fox is a 3-time NBA Champion. He made his acting debut in the mid-1990s, and has appeared in many films and television shows since, including Ugly Betty. He is also a producer and has developed projects with his company, 1744 Entertainment.

The women

Audrina Patridge: Actress Audrina Patridge starring in six seasons of The Hills has become one of television's most wanted actresses. Audrina, who strives to consistently better her acting skills with private classes and coaches, made her film debut last year in Sorority Row. She has also tried her comedic skills on MAD TV, and been involved in television advertising campaigns.

Brandy: At the age of 15, Brandy's debut album sold over 6 million copies. Not only is she an R&B and pop singer who has seen incredible success in the past 16 years, she is also a songwriter, actress, and record and television producer. She has been the spokesperson for many brands, including Cover Girl, DKNY and Skechers Shoes. She is active in Make-A-Wish Foundation and The Norwood Kids Foundation which supports performing arts in public schools.

Bristol Palin: Daughter of former Governor of Alaska, Bristol Palin was introduced to America when she traveled with Sarah Palin on the Presidential campaign trail with John McCain. Bristol became a single teen mother in 2008 during the campaign, and become an advocate for pro-life and started speaking out about teen issues, including teen and unplanned pregnancies.

Florence Henderson: Most remember for her role as Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch in the 1970s. Florence Henderson is still seen today in that role in syndication in 122 countries. Movie actress, television star, commercial brand spokesperson, Broadway actress, singer and motivational speaker, the 76-year-old Henderson has also been a talk-show host, show producer, and author.

Jennifer Grey: Best known as leading lady to Patrick Swayze in Dirty Dancing, Jennifer Grey will dance again 23 years later. Grey also played in the starring role in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Since then, she has made television appearances, and acted in other films, and television movies.

Margaret Cho: Funny lady and successful comedienne, Margaret Cho took the stage at 16, and has toured as a performer. She is regular actress on Lifetime TV. Cho is an author, and advocate for equal rights associating with a number of organizations-National Organization for Women, Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, to name a few.

DWTS' new season premieres Monday September 20 on ABC and is hosted by Tom Bergeron.
