Kurt Warner on Dancing with the Stars
Warner, MVP of Super Bowl XXXIV and the father of seven children is paired with professional dancer Anna Trebunskaya. Warner, was the first male contestant on the dance floor, following some scenes of rehearsals showing Warner trying to learn to extend his arms commenting on how much he looked like a big bird. Trebunskaya agreed saying he had "absolutely no grace whatsoever."
However, dressed in a dark brown suit, Warner was tall, dark, and handsome as he danced the Viennese Waltz with Trebunskaya.
Dancing with the Stars Judges on Kurt Warner
Bruno Tonioli stated that Warner was a "graceful quarterback" saying the former NFL star was a natural and had great stage craft. Carrie Ann Inaba complimented Warner's dancing as natural, graceful and debonair and for his easy connection with partner Trebunskaya and the audience. However, Len Goodman said he found very little to commend. Warner accepted the criticism gracefully saying he learned on the football field you can't please everyone. He said overall he felt good about his performance because he did what Trebunskaya had asked of him which was to smile, have a good time, and connect with the audience. Warner earned a 7 from Inaba, a 5 from Goodman and another 7 from Tonioli for 19 points.
Dancing with the Stars - Bristol Palin
Paired with Mark Ballas, Bristol Palin told ABC she wanted to compete on the show because "It's an amazing opportunity to be on a positive, uplifting, family-oriented show that brings some fun competition into America's homes every week; it's something I can be proud to participate in."
Palin is new to the dance floor and stated on the show, "I'm not an entertainer, I'm not a performer, so I'm very nervous." She and partner Mark Ballas chose the song "Mama Told Me Not to Come" for their Cha Cha Cha because, as Palin put it, her life was full of moments when "Mama told me not to do it, but I did it anyway."
She added, "If I can remember half of what Mark has told me, bring a little sexy to it, and not embarrass my mother (former Gov. Sarah Palin), I'll be happy."
Palin was dressed in a sparkly conservative suit, but after a few steps she ripped it off to reveal a cute but still modest red dance dress.
Dancing with the Stars Judges on Bristol Palin
Len Goodman told Palin her performance was "very acceptable for week one" and congratulated her on her good job. Bruno Tonioli complimented Palin overall and told her to work on the performance aspect. Carrie Ann Inaba was even more complimentary, stating she expected Palin to be boring, but had been proven to be very wrong. "You've got fantastic legs," she said, stating the way Palin undulated her body showed great potential.
Each of the judges gave Palin a 6 for a score of 18. Next: 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 11 - Week 2 Recap

Post a CommentMy my, what hate speech against the only dancer who had no prior dance or performing experience. Too bad the liberal judges on the show disagree with you, sylvia. They have all commented on Bristol's natural musicality and grace. Your vitriol and left-wing bias are showing. Go take your hate-mongering somewhere else.
sarah has her robo calling going on are her daughter would not be there, she can't dance and people have gone home before her that could dance a circle around her, she is a joke and needs to go, i careless about her life story there is millions just like her so whats the deal with a bad dancer. lol
Hi5! page love!
You are coming across as extremely judgmental towards a teen mother who is trying to help others. What part makes you so hostile? The fact she is Sarah Palin's daughter? The fact she got pregnant as a teen? The fact she had the baby instead of aborting it? The fact that because she knows what it's like to have a baby out of wedlock she now talks to other teens about it? That fact that many teens and young healthy, active 20s and 30s actually DO refrain from having sex until they are married... and are free from venereal disease and abortion because they chose abstinence? And, as for being a bad dancer, the judges on DWTS have been quite complimentary, and her scores have been solid.
She's not even 20 yet. You don't have to like her, but try to show a little compassion and stop with the hate speech.
to have sex has worked so very well ever since Adam & Eve. (continued).
Teen activist? That's a new one, for me. I thought she was just the daughter of the woman from Wasilla who, somehow (and inexplicably) ended up running for VP while knowing almost nothing about anything, who turned up preggers at an inopportune moment. I do feel her pain. It must be rough being Sarah Palin's daughter AND a mother at the ripe old age of whatever she is. But does anyone really think that she is influencing teens amywhere to abstain from sex (or dancing or anything else.) The only person whom she might convince to never dance again is....drum roll...herself. It really isn't her strong suit. S'ok, though, because she can always go back to being a "teen activist." Maybe she can resurrect that group that the Tea Party woman from Delaware used to prattle on about on Bill Maehr...that Christine Campbell with her S.A.V.I.O.U.R. or "S.A.V.E. or whatever the acronym was, which basically was aimed at...drum roll again...preventing teens from having sex. And people telling them not
