Kurt Warner on Dancing with the Stars
Superbowl MVP Kurt Warner and his partner Anna Trebunskaya picked the theme of someone who was having a bad day to dance to "Bad Day." Anna said since Kurt was such an upbeat person, he should be the encourager and as a moody Russian, she would play the person having a bad day.
Kurt Warner's Tea Party
Trebunskaya decided since Warner was having a problem with small, delicate motions, he should have a tea party with his two little girls to learn to make motions like he was holding a bowl of delicate china, so dressed in a tiara, he practiced holding a little tea cup with his two giggling girls.
For their fox trot, Kurt Warner held an umbrella while he did a few solo steps in the rain a la Gene Kelly while Trebun emerged from a phone booth. In no time Warner had her on her toes, doing a cute, cute, cute foxtrot routine to "Bad Day."
Dancing with the Stars Judges on Kurt Warner
Carrie Ann Inaba commented on how charming both Kurt and the foxtrot were
Buno imitated Kurt's heavy-handed dance moves as he once again commented on Kurt's "frying pan" hands.
The judges gave Kurt Warnertwo 8s and a 7 for a score of 23 for week three.
Bristol Palinon Dancing with the Stars
Teen activist Bristol Palin was near the top of the leader board last week, but due to being a single mom and a public speaker, Palin said she and her partner Mark Ballas only had four days to practice this week. Palin commented, "I hope I can put myself in character."
Wearing a full-length royal blue coat she removed to reveal a full-length, sparkling white gown, Bristol Palin looked very pretty for their theme of a homeless man reaching out to a woman on the street. Mark Ballas was dressed as the homeless man, but when he removed his rags, his dance suit was revealed for their fox trot.
Dancing with the Stars Judges onBristol Palin
The judges were impressed with Palin's technique and natural grace but not her performance quality.
Carrie Ann Inaba said it was a hard dance to judge because she knew Palin had the least experience as a performer, but that the dance required some performance to tell the story.
Len Goodman stated, "I told you last week to take a risk, and this week you did, and I didn't like it very well."
Bruno Tonioli expressed that he though Palin was neat and clean as a dancer and did everything that was asked of her,"But we need to feel it."
After the fox trot Bristol Palin commented, "I am a public speaker, not an actor, but next week we'll come back stronger."
Bristol Palin received two 6s and a 7 from the "Dancing with the Stars" judges for a score of 19 for the night.

Post a CommentI really like watching both Bristol Palin and Kurt Warner, because they obviously had no dance training, but they sure learned a lot and were fun to cheer on.
