"Dancing with the Stars" Season 12: Who Would Be Your Dream Team?

Abby Greenhill
When "Dancing With The Stars" began I would doubt that even the creators thought it would become as popular a show as it is today. Each season the shows gets more and more interesting and we never know who the cast will be. Maybe, just for the fun of it, we can make our own selections as to who will be doing the Waltz with Tony Dovolani or the Jive with Cheryl Burke? Since those in the know are keeping things close to the vest, who would you like to see on the upcoming Season 12 of Dancing With The Stars?

According to the official website of "Dancing With The Stars", fans of the show have provided name after name of 'stars' that they would like to see in the spotlight this coming season. Go ahead and have some fun with the names. Some of the choices make perfect sense, while ours leave a lot to the imagination!

The categories were broken down into: actor/actress, singer, athlete, comedian, model and other. Since some of the names appeared in more than one category, I will just throw out some of the most popular choices in no particular order.

Are any of the following 'stars' your personal picks for Season 12?

How do you feel about Paul Byrom, Kenny Chesney, Neal McCoy, Clay Aiken, Heather Locklear or George Eads? Maybe Rachel Ray, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Bill Gates or Donald Trump should take a spin?

Joan Collins, Lindsay Lohan, Sandra Bullock and Taylor Swift's names have been thrown in the ring by fans. What about Sarah Jessica Parker, Molly Ringwald or Vince Vaughn? I wouldn't mind watching George Strait scooting his boots across the dance floor!

One name that appeared a few times, that truly made me laugh, was Al Gore. Now that would be worth the price of admission! Lots of people think Jamie Lee Curtis should have a whirl across the dance floor. She did spend quite a lot of time in the audience last season watching Jennifer Grey, so she does have some 'DWTS experience'.

Let's think about the judges for a moment if you will. Week after week they prove that they can critique the dances, but what about actually dancing the dances? They talk the talk, why not let them walk the walk? I would love to see a special segment each week where one of the judges has a turn at performing. Len Goodman doing a sexy Waltz with Anna Trebunskaya or Carrie Ann Inaba doing the Cha Cha with Corkey Ballas, hot stuff!

So we wait for the announcement of who will be on the next season of "Dancing With The Stars", as we wonder if any of our choices will make the list. It all adds to the anticipation and excitement we have come to love and enjoy about "Dancing With The Stars".

I am a periodic viewer, but I would like to see Kevin Bacon on the show.

I'm really out of the loop on this one. :-)

Vince Vaughn would definitely win! You know he's a phenomenal dancer!

Not for this show, but forever I wanted to see John Travolta and Patrick Swayze dance together. Not like a guy and a girl would of course, but as a guy team. Well, we all know that isn't going to happen.

There's this guy named, Bono that I'd like to see. If DWTS donated huge sums to various worldwide relief efforts they may be able to get him on the show.

Whoever ends up on the show is fine with me. They always seem to have an interesting bunch.
