Meet the New Dancing Celebrity Stars

The ABC hit, Dancing With The Stars returns in a two-hour live event on Monday, March 9 at 8:00 PM EST. ABC is promising new twists and surprises this season in addition to some of the familiar fan favorites like the Kids Competition and Macy's Stars of Dance. Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris are back as hosts and Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will be judging the dancers again this season. Here is a look at 11 of the 13 new celebrities who are set to take the dance floor this season:

Belinda Carlisle, the 80s singing sensation, will be dancing with Jonathan Roberts. Belinda was the lead singer of the popular 80s all female band, the Go-Gos. The Go-Gos are famous for many platinum selling songs such as "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "Vacation". Belinda is also a solo artist with hits like "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" and "I Get Weak".

David Alan Greir, television and movie actor, is partnered with Kym Johnson. David has been seen on television in DAG, In Living Color and Chocolate News For Comedy Central. And, he has been in several movies such as Bewitched, Jumanji, The Woodsman and Streamers. He is also an accomplished Broadway performer with roles in Dreamgirls and A Soldier's Play.

Shawn Johnson, Olympic Gold Medal Champion, will be dancing with Mark Ballas, a Dancing With The Stars former champion. The 17 year old Olympic gold medal winner is the youngest person to ever compete on the show. Shawn won a gold medal and three silver medals in gymnastics at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Shawn also received the Choice Female Athlete award at the recent Teen Choice Awards.

Lawrence Taylor, former NFL Hall of Famer, is partnered with Edyta Sliwinska. Lawrence played for the New York Giants his entire career and helped them to win two Super Bowls. He also played in ten Pro Bowls. He has also written two books and appeared in several movies including Any Given Sunday and Shaft.

Denise Richards, television and movie actress, is dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy who is engaged to Karina Smirnoff, a fellow professional dancer. Denise has appeared in Wild Things and Scary Movie 3. She has also appeared on Friends, Spin City and Two and a Half Men. She currently has her own reality show, Its Complicated, on the The E! Network.

Steve-O, reality television star and video producer, is partnered with Lacey Schwimmer. Steve-O starred in MTV's Jackass and moved on to produce his own Too Hot For TV series and Don't Try This At Home stage show. Steve-O also starred in MTV's Wildboyzs.

Lil' Kim, rapper, singer and actress, is dancing with Derek Hough, last season's champion. Lil'Kim is a Grammy award winning rapper. She has appeared on The Game and Moesha and had a role in the feature film, Zoolander. She is recording a new album to be released some time this year.

Gilles Marini, television and movie actor, is partnered with Cheryl Burke, a two time Dancing With The Stars champion. Gilles, born and raised in France, appeared in the Sex and City movie. He has also been seen in Ugly Betty, Criminal Minds and Dirty Sexy Money and soon will be appearing in Nip/Tuck.

Chuck Wicks, country singing star and songwriter, is dancing with his girlfriend and two time Dancing With The Stars champion, Julianne Hough. Chuck hits include "Stealing Cinderella", "All I Ever Wanted" and "Man Of The House".

Steve "The Woz" Wozniak, entrepreneur and co-founder of Apple, is partnered with Karina Smirnoff, fiancé of Maxim Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Steve created the first Apple computers in the mid 70s and has been involved in many business ventures that have improved computer technology and hands on learning for students.

Ty Murray, retired rodeo star, will be dancing with Chelsie Hightower in her debut as a dance professional on the show. Ty has won seven All-Around World Championships. Ty now trains horses and is a television commentator for rodeo events.

Jewell, country singer and wife of Ty Murray, was scheduled to dance with Dmitry Chaplin who is making his Dancing With Stars debut this season. ABC announced on Friday that Jewell has been forced to leave the show after being diagnosed with fractured tibias in both legs.

Nancy O'Dell, co-host of Access Hollywood, was partnered with Tony Dovolani. Nancy has also been forced to leave the competition due to a torn meniscus that requires surgery.

ABC executives have reported that both Jewell and Nancy O'Dell will appear on Monday night's premiere and they are currently searching for their replacements and will announce them on Monday's show. Rumors are circulating the Internet that Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's former Playmate and star of "The Girls Next Door" is one of the replacements. At, this time, ABC will not comment on the rumor.
