Dancing with the Stars Season Premiere Recap
This season is packed with celebrities -- some we know and others not so familiar. Let's get right to the dancing, as there was some good, some bad, and some downright ugly.
Here is the breakdown:
1. Lil Kim and Derrick (Judges Scores: 7-7-7) She had good footwork, was a little shaky throughout the performance but has definite potential.
2. Belinda Carlisle and Jonathon Roberts (Judges Scores: 6-6-5) did lots of twirls, looked beautiful, even though the waltz dragged just a bit.
3. Laurence Taylor and Edita (Judges Scores: 6-5-5) was a natural in his dance. Judges thought he needed to attack his performance next time. Definite potential.
4. Steve-O and Lacy (Judges Scores: 6-5-6) was a stiff dance to start with; twirls were off; struggled through the dance; definitely needs more technique.
5. Gilles Marina and Sheryl Burke (Judges Scores: 8-8-8) definitely has rhythm. All three judges loved his performance. He got a standing ovation!
6. Chuck Wicks and Julienne (Judges Scores: 6-7-7) Made a perfect couple; the dance was graceful, he looked so elegant. Definitely hope he comes back for another week. Unfortunately, there was a tiny lift.
7. Holly Madison and Dmitri-1st replacement (Judges Scores: 6-6-6) She didn't have rhythm, needs balance and something. Yet, she was beautiful.
8. Ty Murray and Chelsea Hightower (Judges Scores: 5-4-5) Liked him a lot. Definitely has potential.
9. Shaun Johnson and Mark Ballas (Judges Scores: 8-8-7) was exquisite. She was graceful, great footwork. Loved her!
10. David Allen Grier and Kym Johnson (Judges Scores: 6-7-6) Very Smooth, and a great first dance. Was too expressive with his facial expressions, but hey, this was a first dance. Great potential!
11. Denise Richards and Maks (Judges Scores: 6-6-6) She was very stiff, and will need to loosen up. She looked beautiful and has great potential.
12. Melissa 2nd Replacement (Watch the Bachelor last week-she got the boot) and Tony (Judges Scores: 8-7-8) was amazing for only having 48 hours to learn a dance. She will be one to watch!
