Bristol the Pistol, Margaret Cho and the Situation Are Safe

Dancing with the Stars results for week 2 are in. Last week, David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson were eliminated.

The couple that remains in the lead are Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough. During episode 3, boos could be heard after Grey and Hough danced. The rumor was that the boos were for Sarah Palin, who was in the audience to watch her daughter Bristol perform. However, it became clearer, when the excerpt from episode 3 was shown on episode 4, that the boos were against the judges for giving Grey and Hough 8's instead of higher scores.

Blondie gets the boot

Bruno Tonioli was in the dog house for his behavior in episode 3 when he told singer Michael Bolton that his Jive was the worst in 11 seasons. Tom Bergeron and Len Goodman felt Bruno was hard on Michael Bolton. "My job is to point out what I see," said Bruno.

But Len disagreed. "I think our job is to educate, enlighten and encourage," said Len. "I always try to show a little bit of positive and then some negative."

However, the person who was angriest at Bruno Tonioli, during the Dancing with the Stars results show, was Michael Bolton, who barely smiled the entire hour. "Bruno was inappropriate and disrespectful," said Michael, who was surprised to be the second star to go. Michael clearly blames Bruno, but should he?

Michael's partner, Chelsie Hightower, is a dynamite dancer. How many people would say Michael is? Is it just a case of a diva who doesn't want to hear the truth? Bruno isn't the only judge to be rude. We've seen it before in the form of a Simon Cowell on American Idol - only worst. Simon was criticized for being rude, even though he was often right. Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower are eliminated, and that fact is not a surprise to some.

Dancing with the Stars results show for week 2 included new singer Janelle Monae

As we've come to expect with Dancing with the Stars, we are treated to more than just the dancing couples. This week's performances included Macy's Stars of Dance, singer Seal and also new and unique 24-year-old singer Janelle Monae. As reported at Grammy, "...Monae possesses a very special talent. Free from any industry-imposed boundaries and senseless stereotypes, she serves up a unique blend of soul, hip & hop, electro glam and synthesized funk to create a stellar new genre of her own."

Dancing with the Stars, season 11, episode 5 airs on October 4, 2010 on ABC
