Dancing with the Stars Week 4 Results: 'Iceman' Chuck Liddell Gets the Boot

DWTS Week 4 Results Show was Surprising and Not so Surprising

Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars" week four results show was both surprising and not so surprising. It turns out that Ultimate Fighting Champion Chuck Liddell was unable to transfer his formidable ability to kick butt onto the dance floor. The burly macho man was voted off "Dancing with the Stars" and, though I thought it was about time for the Iceman to go, I will miss him. But, truth be told, I will miss his lovely pro dance partner, Anna Trebunskaya, even more, for she is very easy on the eyes.

"I had fun," said Liddell. "We had a good time. We made a run at it. It's difficult. It's hard to do."

"You are my bear and you are my hippo, but I loved working with you," enthused the fiery Anna Trebunskaya (You've got to love a girl is both gorgeous and funny.)

While it's not difficult to understand why Chuck Liddell was voted off, it is difficult to understand how Aaron Carter and his pro partner Karina Smirnoff ended up in the bottom two. Let's not forget that Aaron Carter beat out all the male contestants in week one and tied with the mighty Mya in week two. What happened? I think the pressure is getting to Aaron and he just needs to chill so he can get his mojo back.

So now the Iceman joins the other previously eliminated stars on season nine of Dancing with the Stars: actress Debi Mazar, former super model Kathy Ireland, actor Ashley Hamilton and singer Macy Gray. Former Republican House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was forced to leave to due foot injuries.

And now it is only a matter of time before NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin and pro snowboarder Louie Vito get the boot. Both are weak dancers who just sort of walk and pose their way through a dance routine (though, in the interest of fairness, their pro dance partners, Anna Demidova and Chelsie Hightower respectively, share some of the blame for not giving them enough to do).

Meanwhile, Melissa Joan Hart (one of my favorite contestants this season) and her partner Mark Ballas got to reprise their excellent Charleston (I'll bet you thought the encore would go to Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa, didn't you?)

I hope this nod of approval and appreciation will give Melissa Joan Hart an extra shot of confidence going into week five of Dancing with the Stars, when she, along with the other contestants and their pro partners, take on the Paso Doble and the group Hustle.

Aaron got a raw deal all the way around. The judges were absolutely horrible to him. The dance was well done. So they don't like him; what should that have to do with anything. I thought it was a contest about dancing; not popularity.
