'Dancing with the Stars' Week 5, Season 11, 2010: Florence Henderson Voted Off, What Were You Thinking, America?

Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong again. Florence Henderson was voted off "Danicng With the Stars Tuesday night and I never saw it coming. Not when Bristol Palin and Kyle Massey were ripe and ready to be picked off the stage, to say so long, goodbye, baby.

But when Bristol and her dance partner Mark Ballas and Kyle and his dance partner Lacey Schwimmer were declared "safe" at the top of the show, my predictions went out the window. After digesting this news, I was sure Kurt Warner, with his 'frying pan" hands would be the one to go, but not so.

It was Florence.

"I've loved the show since it began," said Florence after learning her fate at 9:57 p.m. "I hope I've inspired people to get up and move." It was obvious Florence, who has worked extremely hard this season, was disappointed, but she departed with class.

Host Tom Bergeron, who has been Florence's friend for years, told her he''e enjoyed the childlike beauty she had exhibited while dancing, and added that she'd look that way even if sitting in the audience.

The thing is, nobody believed Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough would be voted off 'Dancing With the Stars," but that is one carrot "Dancing With the Stars' dangled in front of the viewers, making us wait until the last minute to learn their fate. As if.

Bristol and Kyle, make the most of this second chance, because the next episode of DWTS will be here before you know it.
