Instant Dance Week - Orginal Air Date : November 8, 2010 on ABC

This week on "Dancing With The Stars" it was Instant Dance Week. Each couple had to dance their first dance plus a second dance to a song that they had less than an hour to listen and rehearse with. The Instant Dance Week proved to be a smash. The audience roared approval for the new and exciting performance idea.

The show started off with an an air of excitement that the audience seemed to bring with them. The set was beautiful with it's red velvet and white string lights. Tom and Brooke looked radiant as they introduced the couples and the judges. As the dancing started, it was obvious that the couples had come prepared to dance their hearts out.

Kyle Massey & Lacey Schwimmer
Kyle and Lacey started the evening off with an elegant dance that charmed even Bruno. Carrie Ann blushed when speaking of her crush on Kyle. Len offered up a bit of criticism to Lacey when he mentioned that he would like to see better posture.

The instant dance went extremely well for this couple as they danced the Jive to "Good Golly Miss Molly" by Little Richard. Bruno called them top of their league while Carrie Ann said watching them was the most fun she had ever had. Len received a loud roar of disapproval from the crowd when he called for more finesse.

Jennifer Grey & Derek Hough
Jennifer showed her strength this week as she battled through an injured knee and made sure that the show went on. The couple danced an old school Quick Step that brought the audience to their feet. Bruno compared them to Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Carrie Ann called the dance gorgeous and Len topped that by calling it perfect.

Derek and Jennifer showed their true strength during the instant dance. They danced a Rhumba to "When You Love Someone" by Foreigner that floored both the judges and the audience. Len called the dance great. Bruno raved that it was flawless and Carrie Ann found it beautiful. The dance was scored at a perfect thirty.

Kurt Warner & Anna Trebunskaya
Kurt and Anna are by far the most strikingly beautiful couple dancing on "Dancing With The Stars" this season. As they danced the Waltz, their beautiful smiles lit up the stage. The audience roared approval as they gave their all with very smooth style. Carrie Ann seemed smitten as she spoke of Kurt resembling a Ken doll. Len kept his compliments in check when he called Kurt a graceful dancer for a big guy. Bruno was every bit as smitten as everyone else, mentioning how Kurt's smile lights up the room.

Anna and Kurt danced the Cha Cha Cha for their instant dance. The judges were more reserved when reviewing this dance. Bruno spoke of the performance as good but needing some leg work. Len told them that they performed well. Carrie Ann was still fawning over Kurt a bit and mentioned his sex appeal. There was a moment of drama after scoring. The audience hissed disapproval and Kurt Warner mentioned that it would be nice to get a score higher than eight after this long.

Bristol Palin & Mark Ballas
Bristol and Mark started with an Argentine Tango. While the couple looked incredible, they lacked the passion that one would hope for in a Tango. The judges were considerate yet honest. Len called the dance good but lacking in intensity. Bruno teased Bristol about being mean and moody. Carrie Ann disagreed with Len and said the dance had the most intensity she had ever seen.

The instant dance was a Somba for Mark and Bristol. They seemed to struggle through the dance and Bristol seemed entirely lost at moments. Carrie Ann said they weren't connected with the music. Len was kind by mentioning that they dealt well with the rhythm changes. Bruno commented on Bristol being a bit lost. He also mentioned that she can really shake it.

Brandy & Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Maksim and Brandy started out by dancing a Waltz. The audience was silent yet beaming with enthusiasm for this breathtaking dance. The judges were obviously impressed. Bruno gave the couple a ten and called them a symphony and a poem. Len showered them with approval. Carrie Ann said she was spellbound.

The couple did just as well with the instant dance as they had with their first dance. The did the Cha Cha Cha to a song by Katy Perry. Bruno called them fabulous. Len called the dance full of flare. There was a bit of drama as Carrie Ann began speaking and Maksim started talking over her. Maksim mentioned that the dancers bust their butts and he thought that it might be overlooked.

The Scores
Kyle & Macey 56
Jennifer & Derek 57
Kurt & Anna 48
Bristol & Mark 47
Brandy & Maksim 57

The show was filled with some light moments as well as plenty of drama. Sara Palin spent time admiring Bristol and Mark dancing. Steve-O brought some laughter in to the mix. Kurt Warner had a visit from his children and Jennifer Grey had a visit from her father.

The drama came when Kurt made a remark about low scores. Maksim made a much bigger deal out of the judging. He came off as very rude as he talked over two of the judges and also Brooke Burke. The show was still great and tomorrow night will be the results show. Tune in Tuesday to ABC at 8 pm ET to see which couple will be eliminated.
