'Dancing With the Stars' Week 9 Results -- Who Will Win the Popularity Contest?
Another Shocking Elimination
The musical guests for the show were Annie Lennox and Enrique Iglesias. Also, there was a fun 50's style "Macy's Design a Dance" performance.
The celebrities shared some things they've learned along their "Dancing with the Stars" journey. Bristol Palin has found confidence. Kyle Massey has had to work out harder than ever before. Brandy has been pushed through every level of emotion, and Jennifer Grey enjoyed surprising herself with what she's capable of. "With enough hard work and tenacity you can pretty much do anything," said Jennifer.
On Monday's episode 17, "Dancing with the Stars" received the most votes from the viewers ever. The first couple to survive elimination was Jennifer and Derek who will be going to the finals. Few would disagree that Jennifer and Derek belong in the finals.
Did Kyle Massey, the kid with the "bionic bum," make it to the finals? Yes, he did. That left Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas.
"Why should you be in the finals over others that have scored higher than you?" asked co-host Brooke Burke to Bristol Palin.
Said Bristol, "I think I should be in the finals because I've started with no experience in dancing or performing at all and I've come a long way."
In the end, it was Brandy and Maks who were eliminated. It's been another shocking elimination in a show that doesn't always reward great dancing. Brandy cried when she was eliminated, and many of her fans probably did too.
Episode 19 of "Dancing with the Stars" will air on Monday, November 22, 2010 on ABC.

That is interesting about Maks. I believe Bristol has improved, but not nearly as much as say Kyle and neither i think are as good as Brandy/Jennifer or even Audrina.

The producer of DWTS made a good point. He knows all about the complaints and he said if people didn't bother to vote for their star, than what do we expect? I'm made sure I voted.
