'Dancing with the Stars' Week Four: Jennifer Grey is HOT!

Jacqueline Winslow
Week four on Dancing with the Stars was transformed into an Acoustic Night, with a circular dance floor lifted high off the floor. This gives the judges the advantage of seeing everything, and the ability to talk about every little mistake made (Which they did!). The week was complete with Corky Ballas choreographing a less-than-appropriate dance with Florence Henderson, and Bristol Palin losing her pants in a sexy outfit you don't want to miss!

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: Score was 29/30 = 56 The best dance ever!

There wasn't a dance that came even close to comparing with Jennifer Grey's. The woman hasn't lost her moves, that's for sure. Derek Hough has a way of really showcasing his celebrity partner, Grey, and they created a tango that was sharp, clean, and beautifully danced.

Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy:

Brandy's scores reflected her dancing ... she can dance. Score was 22 + 26 = 48/60, even though she told us that she doesn't feel sexy and hasn't had a relationship in too many years (hence her trouble dealing with Maks?). I thought the judges gave her higher scores than she actually danced, but not bad. Can she finally get past her high drama with Maks and just dance as he wants her to dance? From our view on the television, just like yours, we didn't see any sparks flying. Hence why we couldn't believe how good her scores were. Somehow Bruno and Carrie Ann saw something extraordinary that we didn't. Go figure!

Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani: Score was 24 + 22 = 46/30

I personally loved the Argentine tango Audrina danced. She is beautiful and can dance. Unfortunately, Bruno thought her dance was more like an ice queen. Guess since he's the pro, we'll take his word for it.

Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: Score was 18 + 22 = 40/60

Lacey danced beautifully, and Kyle just danced. His footwork wasn't all that great. Remember, this dance floor shows everything. What do you think of Kyle and Lacey? Will his charisma carry him through the competition?

Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke: Score was 19 + 20 = 39/60

Rick Fox was beautiful, simply put. Somehow the judges didn't really like his dance. I, on the other hand, LOVED IT! It was amazing! Whether Rick thought he was going to drop his dance partner or not (he didn't), he did a wonderful job of dancing.

Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas: Score was 17 + 18 = 35/60

During rehearsals, Corky gets naked (family show, people!) and yes, it was highly inappropriate. The rumba may be art, but we don't need naked art with kids watching. Florence tried to prove she could get sexy, which she was. She was raunchy, very unlike Carol Brady. You can't look beautiful and think that will carry you till Dancing with the Stars week five. She needs less raunchiness and more dancing skills.

Kurt Warner and Anna Tre-BUN-skaya: Score was 15 + 19 = 34/60 This was by far my favorite performance. Ladies, who doesn't want their husband to come ask if he can dance a slightly intimate dance with someone other than you? I was sold, right then and there! This Christian guy got underscored by the judges. Why you ask? They obviously couldn't see his skill and dance moves and didn't mess up. Come on judges!

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: Score was 18 + 14 = 32/60

We waited for her to come out and show us her moves. Did she show us? Well.... Sorta! She wore a beautiful dance costume without the pants and really showed character; and, yes, after the scores we've seen this season, she was underscored. She didn't dance like Jennifer Grey, but she wasn't as bad as The Situation. You decide!

The Situation and Karina Smirnoff: Score was 12 + 16 = 28/60

Just because you show your abs does not mean you can dance. In this case, The Situation can't dance and needs to go. He danced terribly and couldn't seem to get the steps right. Or maybe he did and he just looked bad doing the steps. Either way, it wasn't worth being on the show. Sorry Situation! I haven't been a fan for quite a while. I know it's hard to come out and dance (I, for one, wouldn't do it), so we will give you props for trying.

THE DWTS Singers

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The DWTS singers can't sing. Week after week, I struggle with performances because of the terrible singing. I often look over to my husband and ask why they don't do auditions for better singers. It would make the DWTS live performances so much better. My favorite part of the entire night was the instrumental tango. If you missed it, you definitely want to watch the recap because it was the best dance of the night! Was it the acoustic band, without the singers, or the dances? Either way, the DWTS Singers need to go!

I am a Bolton Fan and after 10 years of watching I will no longer watch. The rudeness of the judges (Burino) is WAY out of line.
I have often found that the way I feel seems the way of many. Only I will tell you about it!
