Dancing Upon My Grave

Deborah Coss
Each day I awaken
opportunity is born again
to gaily dance upon my grave
and get on with the things I have to do
making mockery of the end
having no woes to purchase
too heavy a burden for me
a weight that would keep me
from gaily dancing upon my grave
and getting on with the things I have to do.

I LOVE this poem. I love the circular motion, I feel like I am restarting the poem all over again, like starting each day again. Very nice.
