From June 29th to July 17th at Lincoln Center's Damrosch Park you can learn to dance like never before. The open air dance party offers a group dance lesson from 6:30p to 7:15p followed by music and dancing from 7:30p to 10p; you can partake in one or the other but not necessarily both if you don't want to although it is quite the experience. The ticket price of $17 includes admission and a dance lesson. You can purchase tickets online at lincolncenter.org or on the same day as the event.
It doesn't matter what type of music you like, chances are you will find something here to get your hips swaying. On one night you can find big band swing and on another it's disco.
