Dandelion Rose

(dedicated to Mike Sutherland)

A bouquet of written words;
He gives just to me;

My grateful tears fall;
Do I deserve such a gift?
I am without words;

He sees not a weed;
But a lovely yellow rose;
Without the sharp thorns
