Dangers of Herbal Bath Salts

AmyBrowne
What are the dangers of using the herbal bath salts, which are popular? If it's dangerous, why is it being sold? What are the brand names of these herbal bath salts and who can purchase them?

The active ingredient in all of the herbal bath salt products is JWH-918. This has a similar effect as THC found in marijuana. The product also contains Mephedrone and Methylone along with a bunch of other items. These products are made in Europe, China, and India. In India and China we know that quality control is not followed so who really knows all the items which go into the manufacturing process.

The herbal bath salts are sold under the following brand names White Dove, Stardust, Charge +, Ocean, Spark-20, White Lightning, Charlie, Ivory Wave, Scarface, Hurricane, Cloud-9 and Red Dove. Anyone of any age can purchase these items in a convenience store, gas station or off the internet. Adults can purchase these items in cigarette supply stores, head shops or other adult stores.

The super high feeling produced in the product is similar to the effects of using amphetamines and cocaine, crack, and meth. However the drug in the herbal bath salts does not level off so it appears that the user is continually dong it, even though they might not have taken a dose or a hit in 2 or 3 days. The drug keeps getting stronger and the symptoms keep getting worse.

Herbal bath salts produces hallucinogenic effects, paranoia, anxiety, vomiting , seizures, high blood pressure enough to blow a value in the aorta, delusions, and of course suicidal thoughts. Insomnia, horrid nightmares, moments of super human strength, and severe stomach pains are common side effects of this product.

Who is at most risk for abusing these herbal bath salts? People who are addicted and on parole as well as employees and active duty military who want a clean 'piss test' are at risk of death. Teenagers are also at risk as product can be purchased in convenience stores, cigarette supply stores, gas stations, etc where it has no age requirements to purchase.

Price of the product is twenty dollars for a two-gram package, making it an inexpensive legal high that will not affect a piss test. A twenty-dollar package is enough to kill a person who uses the herbal bath salts in a way that it is not intended.
