Daniel Andreas San Diego Makes FBI Most Wanted List History

Robert Dougherty
Daniel Andreas San Diego is a new name on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists List -- for more than one reason. One wouldn't expect a vegan like Daniel Andreas San Diego to be one of the FBI's Most Wanted, but he made the list for acts of domestic terrorism. But Daniel Andreas San Diego has been on the run for six years, with no new breaks in the case, though the FBI believes doing this will get some results. It has already got people talking about Daniel Andreas San Diego, since he is the first FBI Most Wanted Terrorist member to be a domestic terrorist, let alone an animal rights activist.

The 31-year-old San Diego is on the FBI Most Wanted Terrorist list alongside the likes of Osama bin Laden and other murders, although his bombs didn't kill anyone. In 2003, Daniel San Diego's bombs did strike two corporate offices in California, in a suspected act of eco-terrorism.

San Diego is charged with bombing offices of the Chiron and Shaklee corporations in August and September 2003. These two companies are suspected to be tied to animal testing, a motive that became more likely when "The Revolutionary Cells-Liberation Brigade" took credit for the attacks.

The only damage was in property, and San Diego has been on the run without many more headlines. His tattoos may have raised a lot more flags for future attacks, as he is alleged to have tattoos of a burning hillside, and of burning buildings. The phrase "It only takes a spark" is also included, according to the FBI.

Elevating Daniel Andreas San Diego to the FBI Most Wanted list is suspicious, as the FBI claims it can provide some new breaks in the case. However, this sudden inclusion of an accused domestic terrorist on the FBI Most Wanted list may be part of a greater trend and political shift.

In recent weeks, extra attention has been paid by the Obama administration towards domestic terrorists. A mini-fire storm was created when a DHS report stressed the rise and resolve of right wing domestic terrorists. This sparked the usual charges of Obama and the Democrats trying to criminalize the right-wing as a whole.

Daniel Andreas San Diego is associated with the kind of domestic terrorism associated with the left wing, though. Eco-terrorism and extreme animal rights fighting is designated as leftist, with militias often labeled as right wing. Was this choice designed to deflect criticism over the DHS report? That may be a popular line of speculation on blogs.

Usually, high profile acts of pro-environment antics come from PETA, and other extreme eco-friendly groups. But as much as PETA gets accused of being extreme and crazy, none of their members have made the FBI Most Wanted Terrorist list before, no matter what the circumstances.

Humans do not have the right to use
animals to make humans' life better. We
human are supposed to have the mentality
to do this on our oqwn What we could
learn from animals just by observing them
is their commonsense and reasoning powers.
Let it be said, that: 'human foolish,
animal not'. What does it take to put
commonsense and reasoning into the minds
of these humans that believe: by making
another being suffer forthe sake of
making another happy isn't this a bit
    selfish, unkind, greedy..... and sick.
