The Baldwin family is full of crazy surprises. The entire family has become known for their outrageousness and ritzy lifestyles. Some may argue that each one's personal life may be more interesting than their movie careers. It appears that one of the Baldwin brothers has been in trouble with the law. His court date happened today and featured some pretty interesting results.

Daniel Baldwin appeared in an Orange County Courtroom today. Baldwin was present to face car theft charges that came about in November. The lesser famous Baldwin brother ended up pleading not guilty to charges of unlawfully taking a car and receiving stolen property. Court proceedings went as planned today and the first court hearing was quick and easy for all parties. Baldwin will have to appear in court at a later date to find out what the verdict will be on his car theft related charges.

Popular media entertainment site TMZ.com first reported the arrest when it happened back in November. A bench warrant was issued earlier this month for Baldwin because he failed to appear for arraignment for the case. Baldwin has been free on bail already. He has been free since being arrested at a Santa Monica hotel in November. Baldwin was arrested in a white 2003 GMC Yukon that was reported as stolen in Orange County. That was the vehicle he was being charged for in court.

There is some added news to the situation. Daniel Baldwin claims that he borrowed the vehicle from a friend. Cops arrested him because they did not believe the story and because the vehicle was indeed reported as stolen. The shocking news on the entire situation is that Baldwin arrived at the court hearing driving the same vehicle that was in question. Also, he was driving with the owner, Ken Smith, as his passenger. It is not known if Smith was the individual who reported the car stolen. His participation alone may help Baldwin get all the charges thrown out.
