On the Nov. 26 episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan attempted to cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase against World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry. Bryan was successful but the Match was thrown out by Theodore Long. Long threw out the Match because Henry was not medical cleared to compete. As a result the World Heavyweight Championship was returned to Henry and the Money In The Bank Briefcase was returned to Bryan.
Bryan was suppose to wait until WrestleMania XXVIII to cash in the Money In The Bank Briefcase, at least that is what he told the WWE Universe on the July 22 nd episode of SmackDown. WWE.com caught up with Bryan after his Match was thrown out. They wanted to know why Bryan attempted to cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase before WrestleMania XXVIII. Bryan tried to justify his actions by talking about his moral code. Bryan informed the WWE Universe that when you believe in something so strongly it's OK to go against your moral code. After being attacked by Henry weeks prior, Bryan no longer wanted to see Henry as Champion. For that reason he decided to go against his moral code by giving up his dream of Main Eventing WrestleMania and cashing in his Briefcase against Henry.
A few weeks later Bryan lied to the WWE Universe again. In the interview with WWE.com, Bryan did not want to see Henry as World Heavyweight Champion. At Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, Bryan's wish came true. The Big Show defeated Mark Henry to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. After the Match Henry attacked The Big Show by 'DDTing' him onto the steel steps. With The Big Show unconscious, Bryan seized the moment and made his way to the ring. With a referee at his side Bryan announced he was cashing in the Money In The Bank Briefcase.
Bryan cashing in against The Big Show did not make sense. Bryan wanted the Championship of Henry. That happened when The Big Show defeated Henry at TLC. So why did Bryan cash in against The Big Show? The Big Show did nothing to Bryan, he simply encouraged him not to wait until WrestleMania to cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase. Did The Big Show bring this upon himself or is Bryan a liar who has no moral code?
