Daniel Patrick Boyd, Alleged Jilhadist from North Carolina, Arrested
Caswell County, NC Man, Sons and 4 Others Arrested
Daniel Patrick Boyd and alleged jihadist activity prior to 9/11
The press release contains some interesting information about Daniel Patrick Boyd and his alleged jihadist activities prior to September 11, 2001. According to the press release, ""The indictment alleges that Daniel Boyd is a veteran of terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan who, over the past three years, has conspired with others in this country to recruit and help young men travel overseas in order to kill." As far back as 1989, the Feds allege that Daniel Patrick Boyd traveled to Pakistan and Afghanistan where he acquired training in waging jihad. The Feds allege that Daniel Patrick Boyd received training specifically at terrorist training camps in the two countries.
It is disturbing to note that Mr. Boyd was in training to help our enemy well in advance of the horrific events of September 11, 2001. Arrested with Boyd were two of his sons, Dylan Boyd, age 22 and Zakariya Boyd, age 20. Both sons would have very young during the time that their father was training for jihad in the late 1990s. The indictment alleges that Daniel Boyd and several others engaged in military style training at property situated in Caswell County, North Carolina in June and July 2009, cementing the notion that Daniel Patrick Boyd has long espoused a jihadist mindset.
Daniel Patrick Boyd: alleged home grown terrorist?
The Federal indictment alleges that Daniel Patrick Boyd offered material support and supplies to terrorists from November 2006 through July 2009 by providing money, training and other resources to terrorists. Mr. Boyd and the other co-conspirators lived in North Carolina while supporting terrorist efforts abroad. The indictment alleges that Daniel Patrick Boyd even went so far as to solicit funding from others to finance others' training in terrorist camps in other countries. In 2007, it is alleged that Boyd and others traveled to Israel bent on waging jihad. Their efforts failed and they ultimately returned to the United States. The indictment against Daniel Patrick Boyd includes, inter alia, making two false statements to the FBI regarding his activities and who he met with during that trip to Israel.

Daniel Patrick Boyd (aka; Saifullah) of NC was a teenager when he was in Afghanistan, a valiant soul who sacrificed himself in the US backed proxy war.
And yet now he is in prison in Virginia and the FBI calls those 1980's and 90's camps as "terrorist camps".
If they were, then they were US supported "terrorist camps". [I guess along the lines of the Fort Benning Georgia based 'School of the Americas'!!!]
And note that Erik Prince of Blackwater (Xe) has been charged with the fact that he [to quote]: "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."
This is explosive to say the least, and it is being reported in the world news, but not here widely? Why is this being buried from in the main news in the USA???????!!!!!!!!

Good article. I must disagree with "Skully." I've read that the FBI is beginning to warn authorities in most states that home-grown terrorism is getting out of hand; and also heard on several radio shows from some responsible, law-abiding Muslim people, who've come here from Arabic nations, that Americans have no idea how many sleeper cells there are, with terrorists recruiting and brainwashing young American men - and women - into their plan.
Why no picture of the scumbag and his cronies%253F
This will be interesting.
Well 20 years ago they weren't considered terrorists because they were our allies fighting the boogiemen of the day, the soviets. We called them freedom fighters and helped train them. This guy may still be guilty but it would nice if they didn't twist history to support the claim.
wonder if they'll be able to prove it. scary that this kind of thing could happen on our own soil.
And perhaps the whole story is false! Perhaps this family is what the neighbors say - not what the govt says! These poor folks are probably being set up so that we citizens become less trusting when we see a nice looking "white man" who is supposedly a terrorist! Remember - "they" are doing terror exercises right now and gee, doesn't this just fit the bill for exactly what they want? The plan is to make you terrified of your neighbors. Is it working? Yet?
For all we know, this guy and the others could be completely innocent! Think people! Think about it!
I am really curious as to how these allegations will hold up.
Didn't hear a word about this so thanks for the article!
