Danielle Staub Denies Being Fired from Real Housewives of New Jersey

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub is defending herself against rumors she has been cut from the hit Bravo reality show starting next season.

Staub, who is well known to viewers for her dramatic melt downs, screaming matches and onscreen fights, is denying she was let go from the show. Staub sat down with online Celebrity gossip site PopEater to give her side of the story and said in an official release to the site, "I'm not even thinking about season three right now, as I am considering many incredible options that have been presented to me. Right now, I just want to let fans know that we have a fantastic finale coming up next week and explosive reunion shows on August 30 and September 6. Don't worry next year, I'll still be the one you either love to hate or hate to love."

But several media outlets like Life & Style and People Magazine have been reporting in recent days Bravo told Staub she isn't welcome back for the shows third season, which Life & Style quoted the actress as saying, "I am in complete shock."

An insider with Bravo! tells People Magazine that Danielle Staub has been working on a spin-off reality series on the network which focuses on her life and promoting her daughter's careers.

But her denials and insistence there will be a third season contradicts a quote from an interview with Life & Style at her birthday celebration in New York City recently when she told the magazine, "I don't know if there are talks right now about a third season of the show, but I'm more excited about talks of my spin-off than anything else."

Staub immediately became the standout cast member of Real Housewives of New Jersey during the first season when allegations begin surfacing about her party-girl past that involved sex, drugs and arrests. She also has been known for her dramatic shouting matches with other cast members, and having her hair extensions ripped out by Ashley Holmes, daughter of fellow cast member Jacqueline Laurita.

Danielle Staub also recently released her first book, 'The Naked Truth: The Real Story Behind the Real Housewife of New Jersey -- In Her Own Words,' a tell-all memoir where she opened up about her hard partying past. Staub has also been doing damage control after Hustler Inc. announced it had obtained a home made sex tape featuring Staub.
