Danish Quick Oatmeal Bread

3/4 c. butter

1 1/2 c. sour milk

3 c. flour

3 c. finely ground oatmeal ****

3/4 tsp. salt

Melt the butter and add the sour milk. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Roll out to a thickness of 1/4" on a floured borads. Make a long roll about 1 1/2" thick. Cut off small pieces and roll out into round shapes about the size of a small dinner plate. about 1/2" thick. Bake on a preheated greased griddle until golden brown on one side. Turn only once. and bake until brown on other side.

**** Note: If you can't find finely ground oatmeal. put regular oatmeal through a food grinder, using the finest blade, or use an electric blender.
