Danish with Vanilla Pudding, a Tasty Treat!

Cloudage
To make Danish with vanilla pudding is surprisingly easy, and so very good! I'm going to share this recipe here for everyone to try, and I hope you will like this as much as my family does!

The things you need before you get started are:
5 dl Flour
1 tablespoon Sugar
1.25 dl Milk
1 Egg
30 gr Fresh Yeast
around 250 grams Margarine
about 2 cups of vanilla pudding

Using a small pan, you heat the milk up to 37 degrees Celsius. If you don't use a thermometer, stick your finger in the milk and it's supposed to feel neither hot nor cold, but just like your body temperature.(this is important, so you won't kill the yeast. If you use dry yeast, add the yeast in with the flour) Add the yeast into the milk.

Then you mix the one egg in with the milk mixture.

In a separate bowl, mix flour and sugar. Add the milk mixture to this, and work with it a little bit. It is supposed to feel sticky, so don't add more flour.

Don't let it sit, but right away put the dough down on a table, and using a little flour, roll it into a square. Make sure you get the dough really nice and thin.

The you add thin blocks of margarine on one half of the dough. Use a slicer, or a knife, to make the blocks thin. Fold the other half of the dough over the part that's buttered, so you have half of a square in front of you. Repeat this three times, butter half with thin blocks of margarine, then fold the other half over.

The last time you roll the dough out to a big square again, and cut the dough into around 12 squares, about 1/2 cm thick.

Then you fold the four corners in towards the middle, and put vanilla cream in the middle.

Let them sit in a warm place for around 20 minutes, find something to cover them with so they raise a little bit.

Put it into a preheated oven at 250 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes, let them be light golden before you take them out.

This dessert is one of my favorites, and when you get the hang of making them you'll have a good and tasty treat ready in no time!

They can also be frozen; thaw them up in the oven for a few minutes, to make them as crispy and good as if they were fresh!
