I rarely use coupons. I am just too lazy to search for them on the Internet, in the newspapers or in the Supermarket fliers. I also do not like to be one of those that keep the check-out line from moving while I look for the coupons.
Today was one of the days that I had to shop for yogurt. I love yogurt, especially Dannon's Coffee Yogurt. I think I have become addicted to it because if it is not in my refrigerator at breakfast time, I feel as if have nothing in the house to eat.
I also began to eating the yogurt along with one of the Stella Doro Breakfast Treats topped with marmelade. I hoard these Breakfast Treats as well. I add a bit of peanut butter on the flat side, and a little marmalade on top. It is delicioius. I enjoy them with a cup of coffee instead of an English Muffinor a slice of toast for breakfast. I have started to stock up on them ever since I went to buy some and found the shelve empty. They are really delicious and low in calories-until you add the peanut butter and jelly.
Anyway, getting back to the Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt. The top of the container of my favorite, Dannon All Natural Coffee Yogurt, has a paper cap on top, with the name Caramel on it. I have been waiting to find and taste this newest addition of Dannon All Natural Yogurt's but my favorite supermarket did not carry it. I had wondered why?
Last week I decided to go shopping to another nearby supermarket to buy my Dannon All Natural Coffee Yogurt and high on the shelf, on top of all the other brands of yogurt's I noticed the container of Dannon Healthy Caramel Yogurt. I could not reach so I had to find a tall customer to grab it for me. I often wonder why the supermarkets have such high shelves. How do they expect the shorter customers to reach up so high. I think they should have 'grabbers' nearby to make it easier. Anyway, I finally had the yogurt in my hand. I put it into my shopping cart, finished my shopping and went home to write a product review about the Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt.
I only bought the 1 container of the Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt and 7 containers of my favorite yogurt, Dannon All Natural Coffee Yogurt. I figured in case I did not like the Caramel, I wanted t make sure I had a week's supply of my favorite coffee yogurt to eat. The 1 container was also enough for me to base my review on and to decide if I liked it or not, I put it in my refrigerator along with my other keep cold groceries and went on the computer to check my email. I forgot all about my newly prized possession and the review I was going to write.
The other day, as I was watching TV, I remembered that the container of Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt was still in the refrigerator. I had forgotten all about it and the review that I had wanted to write. I got up, put my TV on hold, and ran to get the container of yogurt. I reached for my spoon, pulled off the top of the container, and eagerly reached in and placed the yogurt on the tip of the spoon.
I felt like a kid taking her first taste of a chocolate ice cream cone. The excitement soon left, as I took my first taste of the Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt. It tasted sweet. But I figured to take one more taste to make sure. I took another spoonful and quickly spit it out. It tasted even worse the second time. It had such a strong and sweet taste that it was impossible for me to eat anymore. I took the entire container, removed the spoon still in it, and tossed it into the sink!
My review of the Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt came to a quick and untimely ending. The flavor remained in my mouth well after I had thrown it down the drain. My review of this latest and newest Dannon All Natural Caramel Yogurt from 1-5 is, sadly, a big fat Zero!. It was that bad.
I do not recommend Dannon All Natural Carmel Yogurt to anyone unless they love extremely sugary treats. I think I know now why Publix has not placed it on their shelves and wonder if the other supermarket will soon remove it from their shelves as well!
