Danny Bonaduce and Jonny Fairplay Mix it Up

Apparently, Tuesday night Danny Bonaduce and Survivor reality star Jonny Fairplay got in to a bit of a scuffle. Both were attending the FOX Reality Channel Reality Awards when the mayhem broke out. Rumors have been swirling and accusations have been made as to what exactly started the fight, but in the end pencil thin Jonny Fairplay ended up on the receiving end of the infamous Bonaduce temper. I am not a fan of either of them, but it was an interesting incident none the less.

Danny Bonaduce claims that as the awards were ending Jonny Fairplay was on stage. According to Danny Bonaduce the Audience was booing Jonny Fairplay and Fairplay was inquiring with the audience as to why they were booing him. Bonaduce claims that someone then asked him to tell Fairplay that the audience was booing him, because they hated him. So, Bonaduce claims that that is exactly what he did. He says that as he approached the stage Jonny Fairplay charged at him, leaped on to him wrapping his legs around his waist. Bonaduce claims that not realizing how light fairplay was he grabbed him by the butt of his jeans and flipped fairplay over his head. Obviously, we see where Danny Bonaduce is going with this, he intends to claim that he injured Fairplay in self defense.

Naturally, Jonny Fairplay's version is a bit different from the version that Danny Bonaduce tells. Jonny Fairplay claims he didn't attack Bonaduce at all. Jonny Fairplay states that after an on stage exchange of words he approached Bonaduce with his trademark monkey hump hug and that is when Bonaduce hurt him. The video footage of the incident matches more closely with Fairplay's account. On the tape it shows both of them onstage for about a minute prior to the incident occurring, which contradicts Bonaduce's statement. I also don't get how he misunderstood Fairplay's actions as confrontational.

Personally, I believe that Danny Bonaduce over reacted to a joke poorly executed by Jonny Fairplay. I don't believe it was Bonaduce's intention to hurt Jonny Fairplay, but none the less his actions did cause injury. Jonny Fairplay ended up with a broken toe, a few missing teeth and a stitched up lip. That being said, I don't know if there is any liability on Danny Bonaduces part. At the end of the day it was a simple misunderstanding.
