Dare to Take the Shortest Trip?

One Word Too Often Profaned...Need To Revise the Dictionary? it All Depends on Us!

I feel, the word which is too often profaned nowadays is 'unconditional'. It's time that we revised our dictionary. There is no relevance and utility of the term unconditional anymore, is there? This might quite sound like a rant but I am strongly opinionated regarding this. We are so different today; we have changed to a different species, I fear. There is no effect without a cause and no cause without an effect. I do not know if there exists anything remotely close to unconditional love, unconditional friendship, unconditional giving, unconditional relationship or unconditional A, B, Cs. This is painfully bizarre, unbelievably true!

Funnily, the difference between conditional and unconditional is just a UN, the two letters in English dictionary! It's the shortest trip, yet we dare not take!

U:

Understanding of soul, heart and needs of the people and treating them the way we would want ourselves to be treated. This shortens the bridge between conditional and unconditional. And what does it take? Just an understanding soul! I feel, we all have it right there but do not feel the urge to exercise it as often as we should. We are less motivated, we are self-seekingly lazy.

N:

Nuture
the human in you. With nurturing the human is us we finally evaporate the gap. This N is an amazing thing! It helps us understand ourselves. We grow and thrive on happiness so much so that others could feel the positivism. We must learn to give without reason, without expectation, without hoping in return, with humility. Again, this just takes an understanding mind.

My life has been changed enormously after I changed my priorities and started to live on the real food of living. I got rid of the junks that had been killing my inner self, I felt better. Life is so much more beautiful and liveable now. I have grown and blossomed to a better human. I can feel it when others touch my heart with unconditional warmth and love. We are given innumerable opportunities to reflect ourselves on each other. I see the world in you and you see it in mine. It's so beautiful! Trust me, we lose nothing by being generous and unconditional and it gives us so much more to live on. 'Like attracts like' and rightly so. I am thriving on it right now.

So, what do you say? Should the dictionary be revised or you dare to take the shortest trip to UN?
