Darrent Williams, Shot and Killed in a Drive-By Shooting

Denver Broncos Cornerback Dead at 24

Shortly after 2 AM New Year's Day, police arrived at the scene of a drive-by shooting at a nightclub in Denver Colorado. The white limousine carrying Darrent Williams, cornerback for the Denver Broncos and 2 others were in was sprayed with bullets by another car that pulled up beside it according to Associated Press.

Three people were rushed to the hospital, an unidentified man and women were injured, but Mr. Williams was pronounced dead. The Denver Broncos were eliminated from the playoffs just hours before to The San Francisco 49ers in an overtime game, 26-23.

Police have no motive or suspects and are interviewing witnesses at this time.
