Said the interrogator.
I'm a rhyme ist;
What is your excuse?
I'm just nosy.
I knew that.
You are a reason,
I write spats.
I'll look it up,
The word,
I threw in the chat.
Misaligned letters
Could get words smashed
And out of kilter.
I will ask a dictionary,
The meaning
Of that word, too.
A dart wrongly tossed,
May boomerang.
Having to duck,
May force us to squat,
To get out of harms way.
Well that's the price of warfare,
Toying with words.
Silence is the easy way,
To go unnoticed, unheard.
If your talk doesn't rhyme,
You may still be a poem ist,
Without the desire to listen
For echoes in our midst.
