Date Locations in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Finding a nice location for a "semi-formal" date can be a challenge. Most venues either cater to more casual customers or are too expensive for the average individual to afford without feeling somewhat guilty over spending a large portion of their paycheck on just one evening. Tulsa, Oklahoma, however, is full of wonderful places that are both classy and affordable to take your date to for a more "dressed up" evening together. Although business/semi formal attire is certainly not required at any of these venues, the atmosphere in all of them definitely allows for customers to don their dress clothes without feeling awkwardly out of place.

Cosmo is a great restaurant/bar/dessert eatery to enjoy the evening together at. With dimmer lights and delicious food items, Cosmo provides its customers with a candlelit eating arena. Both smaller booth tables and larger chair tables are available, as well as a decently sized bar area. Unique lamps hang from the ceiling, providing a soft glow about the restaurant and all tables have at least one candle flickering atop them. Specialties at Cosmo include their scrumptious Hershey cobbler-a rich chocolate dessert item that is large enough for two to share and still feel guilty about all of the calories they've consumed. Cosmo also boasts of a large tea menu, complete with flavors and fragrances to suit any tea consumer.

The Tulsa Ballet is also a fine place to spend the evening. With world class performances, the Tulsa Ballet regularly puts on several shows throughout the year, including seasonal favorites such as the Nutcracker Ballet. Other performances include more modern dance works, giving their viewers a bit of an alteration of the traditional take on dancing. Ticket prices depend on the show and the seating location and can be purchased ahead of time. While most guys won't enjoy a night watching ballet, the Tulsa Ballet is certainly the perfect place to treat any dance-loving girl for the evening.

Another great restaurant to treat a date to In the Raw, a sushi establishment. Although often filled with long lines of waiting customers, In the Raw is a great place to grab a more upscale atmosphere to consume sushi in. The prices are a bit more than the average sushi restaurant, but the dimmer lights and active atmosphere are well worth the price. This restaurant is great for any sushi enthusiast who is seeking a less casual sushi venue.

Finally, the Tulsa Performing Arts Center hosts a variety of different arts. From plays to the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra this building in downtown Tulsa is sure to have an exciting event for any evening in the year.
