Dating Rules and Tips

First Date Rules

Dating is a minefield and its scary too, you don't know what to do, what to say or even what the other person is thinking about you - and the first dates are always the worst. SO here are a few dating tips and rules which you could try and follow to help your date go smoothly and successfully.

1. Dress Classy. Don't wear anything too short or anything too revealing. You don't know the person. Don't wear t-shirts unless it really is an informal date as this gives the impression that you are lazy and a little bit scruffy.

2. Make sure you have your phone on you and some cash. Go Dutch and split the bill with your date and keep some money left over for emergencies and so on.

3. Don't try out a new look. Try to wear something you feel comfortable in and something that you like wearing. Don't try out a new hairstyle or similar this could have disastrous effects and could leave you feel low, if it doesn't work out the way you want.

4. Arrange to meet somewhere where you have been before or perhaps somewhere that you know. Don't go to a new and unknown location.

5. Don't let your nerves get the better you.

6. Be yourself and don't try to be anyone else.

7. Don't drink or eat too much, you don't want to give your date the wrong idea or impression.

8. Ask questions about your date, don't let it just be me me me. Find out what they do and what hobbies they have.

9. Don't talk about ex partners, past and previous relationships.

10. Do wear your best underwear - it will give you a confidence booster and will make you feel good about yourself.

11. Don't expect too much from your date. They might be just as nervous as you so don't expect too much off them.

12. Do tell your friends, family and so on that you have a date, especially if its a blind date.

13. Do be cautious.

14. Don't be out too late, especially on your first date, keep them wanting to know more about you.

15. Do relax a little bit, but don't let all of your barriers and guards down too early.

I hope you have found this article both useful and helpful. Good luck with dating and your first date/s. Remember that Mr or Miss Right is out there you just have to keep looking.
