Dressed in white, veil covering her face. Sparkling under the sunlight she took her fathers hand. His sad look crossed with an excited smile brought a tear to her eyes. His palms soaked while she remained dry.
"You look beautiful," he stated.
"Thank you Daddy," she replied. "don't look to shabby yourself."
"It's almost time," he sighed.
"Don't worry, I'll always be you little girl," she smiled and tightened her grip within his hands. "Where you nervous when you waited for mom to come down the aisle?"
"Dreadfully," he laughed. "Are you nervous?"
"No," she stated, and smiled up to him.
"Oh, and why not?" He asked astonished.
"This is the second best moment of my life, and it will last me the rest of my life," she replied.
"What was the first best moment?" Beginning to walk on the white sheet spread out for his daughter.
"Falling in love with him is and will always be the best moment of my life," she whispered to her father as he placed her in front of his new son in law.
