The sunset ceremony was witnessed by a group of 200 friends, family, politicians, and A&E executives on Friday evening - February 20th, 2009. It was officiated by Tim Storey - the Chapman family pastor who also officiated Dog and Beth's wedding. The happy couple wrote and recited their own vows for the ceremony, which ,of course, was filmed by a trusty camera crew from A&E and will be aired on the network as a special at a later date.
The bride's colors were blue and white and Papa Dog was spotted wearing a black formal dress suit - complete with vest, cummerbund and tie as he walked his daughter down the aisle. This was a welcomed sight for sore eyes accustomed to seeing the Dog in his trademark roughneck garb. Sadly, he did not forgo the shades and the steel-tipped boots.
During the ceremony, Dog presented his new son-in-law with a bounty hunting badge as a Welcome To The Dog Pound gift. It will be interesting to see how "Bo" is integrated into the family business as A&E cameras roll.
The traditional Hawaiian wedding blessing was performed and singers of the group Na Leo provided the musical backdrop for the bride's walk down the aisle.
The newlyweds also had a couple of online gift registries located at The Pottery Barn and Macy's. Some of the items the couple requested were a $475 lamp, a $475 laptop case, and two $1300 egg-shaped wicker chairs. Most of the requested items on the lists have already been purchased, although it isn't clear by whom - including a $300 set of cooking pots.
