The atmosphere at Dave and Busters is friendly and casual. A moderately quiet place for dining is set away from the midway of games, playing, and laughter of the kids and their families. When we arrived at Dave and Busters we were promptly seated. Luckily we had come at the right time, when they were not very busy and there was no wait for a table.
The menu at Dave and Busters provides a lot of options. Many entrees are included in the Eat-N-Play Combo where you receive a $10 or $20 game play card with your meal. My oldest son ordered the Blackjack BBQ Chicken and Ribs. He said it was fantastic. The portions were large enough that he had leftovers. That is saying a lot considering how a 16-year-old boy can eat. My youngest got the Dave's Double Cheeseburger. Served with French Fries, my son was satisfied with his meal and said it tasted good. Not much description was given from the 8-year-old.
My husband and I both ordered the Grilled Island Trifecta. It comes with 2 skewers of tender Sirloin, 2 skewers of grilled Chicken, and 1 skewer of Shrimp. Although it is generally served with rice, we both substituted French Fries instead. We were both surprised at the tenderness of the Sirloin and thought the Chicken was great. When my husband says that Chicken is good, this means it was good. Considering Chicken is about his least favorite food. The Trifecta is served with 3 sauces: a Teriyaki BBQ sauce which is very flavorful, a Pineapple pico de gallo, and a Mango Citrus Sauce. The Teriyaki BBQ is the only one you need. It enhances the flavor of the meal. The others leave a little to be desired in the flavor area.
Our trip to Dave and Busters lasted about 4 hours, between eating and playing games in the midway. If you plan on eating a meal and playing games, expect to spend somewhere around $100. The kids have a ball in the Dave and Busters midway trying to win tickets to cash in for prizes or even just playing games trying to outdo the others. I would recommend Dave and Busters to anyone. Even if your just stopping in to eat, it is worth the trip.

Post a CommentI fondly recall visiting a Dave and Busters in GA, great review.
SOunds like a place I'd visit :)
Dave and Buster's sounds like a great place to spend time with the kids. And, $100 for 4 people who had fun for 4 hours is a great bargain! Unfortunately, the nearest Dave and Busters is in Jacksonville, which is about a 2-1/2 hour drive. Guess, I'll have to wait until I go back to Indy and visit before I can indulge at this fun restaurant!
