David Archuleta Gives Another Great Performance Tuesday Night on American Idol

labs2007
On American Idol Tuesday night, it was Andrew Lloyd Webber night. He is famous for writing songs for musicals. A couple of examples of musicals that he has written for are Cats and The Phantom of the Opera. I thought that this night would be extremely interesting. They had to pick a song from a musical and make it their own. I was very curious to see how this would all pan out. I know that there is a lot of talent left on American Idol right now so I thought they should do alright.

David Archuleta gave another great performance on American Idol Tuesday night. It is always so neat to hear what sound comes out of that boy's mouth. On the outside, he is this dorky looking kid and talks so young. When he sings though, I cannot believe what comes out. He has a lot of talent. I know that even if he doesn't win the whole thing, we will be hearing about him still. David Archuleta proved on American Idol Tuesday night that he is definitely a top 3. He might need to step it up just a little bit so that he can catch up to Jason Castro and David Cook. I still think that David Archuleta is one of the most talented people on American Idol though.

I don't think that David Archuleta is going to get voted off of American Idol this week or next. Actually, I think he will last until the top three. He will be safe Wednesday night though. I am looking forward to what next week is going to bring. I wonder who American Idol will have them perform songs by then. It has been an interesting last couple of weeks. David Archuleta has come a long way and I am excited what he will be singing next week. They have all come a long way and I am interested in hearing them all. Correction to my typo: David Cook and Jason Castro. This is, of course, being written after the May 6th performance that revealed how truly weak Jason Castro is as a performer. I have not understood how he has managed to stay in it past Michael Johns, Carly Smithson and Brooke White. It has to be the teeny-boppers who think he's "cute," but "cute" isn't cutting it at this stage of the game, and forgetting the lyrics to Boby Dylan's "Mr. Tambourine Man"? Inexcusable. He always acts like he's just smoked a joint before answering questions...all "Duh" and loopy. David Cook had an "off" night, so Syesha may close the gap ,but Cook, at least, has deserved to be up there all season long. It is going to be interesting after tonight (May 7th.) Presumably, the dreadlocks will leave and three really talented singers will remain. I've thought it would be "the Davids" all along, but Syesha is gaining on Cook fast.

If you wrote that you think Jason Castro and David Castrol "will be the two left at the end," you are really not listening to the same program that I am.

I am a huge DA fan and vote for him exclusively. Jason Castro is third in my book. But, I very much enjoyed Memory. I bought all three i-Tunes from Archuleta, Cook, and Castro, and I listen to Memory the most. The melody, the words, and the style all come together to provide a captivating performance.

Archie needs to catch up with Jason and Cookie, totally disagree. It should be the other way around. Since the beginning of the contest Archie's been entitled "the one to beat" and still is and that's what the judges still keep on saying from time to time. On Think of Me's performance he proved that he's not only and great singer at such a young age his also a musician, being able to turn classic into a modern and more approachable to the younger generation. Archie will win AI that inevitable...God bless kid and good luck!

David A is the one set to win the title and it's Jason and David C that will need to do the catching up. Both have yet to prove they can deliver songs with vocal brilliance... I have yet to see a moment when either Jason or David C performed a song that was challenging vocally. They may be able to put a spin on a given song, but that's not exactly vocal brilliance to me. David A has proven himself each week to be a masterful vocalist.

At least people are listening to him so, so closely. If you are not mesmerized by his singing you wouldn't be doing that right? Think about it.

Catch UP to Jason Castro? Are you kidding? Just look those 6 little girls who got the chance to hug him... each one of them just gives him 100 votes, it's 600 votes up there!!! You have no idea how big his fan base is! Let me give you some numbers:
ARCHULETAFANS.COM has received this many hits: 3,156,089
DAVID-COOK.ORG has received this many hits: 1,440,555

these two are the most popular fansites. Little David has more than one fansite! Every Tuesday night is like the battlefield of The Lord of the Rings! http://cache.eb.com/eb/image?id=79580&rendTypeId=4

Those are not just fans, they are troops! Many of them vote nonstop for 2 hours straight...

And yes, he is certainly the most talented on American Idol.

Catch UP to Jason Castro? Are you joking? He totally bombed singing "Memory."

I didn't say that he was the most talented at all. He is very talented though. In another article I wrote, I said that I think Jason Castro and David Cook will be the two left at the end.
