David Archuleta Guest-Starring on Hannah Montana

Is David Archuleta really making a guest appearance on Hannah Montana? According to David Archuleta himself, the answer is yes! David Archuleta fans will have a chance to see this former American Idol cutie on Disney Channel's hit series, Hannah Montana, later this season.

David recently confirmed his guest spot on Miley Cyrus' show on his blog at DavidArchuleta.com saying that he had a great time filming the show with the cast of Hannah Montana. He filmed the episode with other Hannah Montana stars like Mitchel Musso, Emily Osment, Jason Earles and of course, Billy Ray Cyrus.

David Archuleta did admit that he'd never really watched Hannah Montana before, but that the experience was an enjoyable one and he especially liked getting to see all the behind-the-scenes action that goes into filming the show.

Not much is known about the episode of Hannah Montana that David Archuleta filmed with Miley Cyrus, but we do know that he will be playing himself. TV Guide reported that in this special episode of Hannah Montana, David Archuleta will ask Hannah Montana to sing a duet with him. David and Hannah Montana will perform his song, "I Wanna Know You." No word yet on when the episode will air on Disney Channel, so keep an eye on the Disney Channel for more news on this.

This will be David Archuleta's second time guest-starring on a hit TV show. His first time appearing as a guest star on TV was when he filmed a guest spot on Nickolodeon's hit show, iCarly with Miranda Cosgrove. His episode was called "iRocked the Vote," and revolved around an singing competition much like the one that launched David Archuleta's career last year, American Idol.
