It is very entertaining to watch her on stage which is why it has been my opinion for quite some time that she will be a magnificent addition to Broadway. Jason Castro was quite a disappointment to watch. I couldn't help but wonder if he is hoping to leave the show tonight. Anticipating what David Cook will deliver for each show makes for great television, but the contest is not one of interesting song arrangements. Again, it is a singing competition. While some believe crowning Cook would be reparation for ousting Chris Daughtery in 2006, Daughtery's record sales have already evened that score. Cook will undoubtedly achieve success, as well.
David Archuleta is the perfect American Idol. He is a winner that will rise to the top. He most definitely has the talent. He is cute and appeals to young girls. (I could not help but think of Donny Osmond's "Puppy Love" as he sang "Love Me Tender" with such innocence.) Most importantly, he is very pliable: perfect for 19 Entertainment. Archuleta does need to work on using the stage, but he takes instruction very easily and will become a master performer.
The votes will continue to pour in for David Archuleta as he is a favorite not only for young girls willing to spend hours dialing in, but for those who appreciate a quality singer.

Post a CommentDavid Archuleta for the win.
He has a voice that inspires everyone. He deserves to have the title of American Idol.
count the comments that have been coming in for david a. that is my answer to your opinion. in this country, the majority rules.
I love David Archuleta!! Thanks for posting such a wonderful article. I think both Davids will grow in their musical careers. Their genre is very different, there are enough consumers out there or different artists.
To John (only). I am not a Mormom, but I have been voting for David A.
To Pemmie and John, you 2 guys are definitely deaf and blind to know what is music and what is noise. David A has a golden voice that creates music. David C has a growling voice that creates noise. Check out the difference. David A is inspiring when he sings, David C is de-inspiring, With all the shoutings to the top of his lungs, you feel scared, not inspired. David A has a magnetic appeal to all the masses, young, middle-aged, seniors, everyone. By the way, I am in my 50's and can help but admire this young David A for his talent. I am definitely not BORED. If you Pemmie is bored, then don't watch him, that's all you can do. What the judges always say, be yourself and David A is being himself, why would he mix is that is not himself.
^ Lol. Are you joking? David Archuleta completely changed the last twenty seconds of Stand By Me.
His last note doesn't even really matter, and if anything, it brings an impressive ending if anything.
Besides the same can be said about Cook. He always starts off slowly, crescendos, and ends quietly. He sounds like every other emo rocker. I usually like Cook, but his performances last night didn't really hit me at all.
David Archuleta has got it all! He has an astounding level of sensitivity and musicality at 17 and I predict can only get better as he matures. He delivers with his soul: Now that's the difference between good and MAGNIFICENT!
David Archuleta's voice is FAR from weak. I don't know what show you are watching John, but he has the best voice on the show, and he is so young. I also disagree with the comment from pemmie, surely David A. has shocked the America and the world for that matter with his amazing vocals at such a tender age, but he is only going to get better. I mean if his vocals are that great now, and he has this much range and he can do so much with the lyrics to the songs he sings, well then he is only going to get stronger, it's that simple. My pick on American Idol is Archuleta, with Cook as a close second.
Archie is original and his voice is unique, he is real, humble
and very handsome. I want him to win AI, the only reason i watch that show is because
of him..go Archie!!
David is a young man with a lot of talent and could take this compition out if he showe off his vocal talent which he shows every night he performs and john your comment on the mormons to be honest.....if he wasnt good at all he wouldnt be where he is now mormons may vote for he but only because of his raw talent and vocal range that amazes alot of people each night he performs .... and to Pemmie your right in some asspects but i guess almosts everyone hates going/getting out of their comfort zone so with time comes experience so i guess it takes time to learn and master the art of "vocal styling" which when he does he will sound more amazing than he does now and will mature more as he try's getting out of his comfort zone more offten.
