David Archuleta will Win American Idol: Season 7
The truth is that the winner of American Idol season 7 is already known. Although there still are a few variables to take into account, there is little doubt who will be America's next Idol. With a voice and personality that reach out to every generation, with a sweet story that gains sympathy and support, with charming looks and gestures, with no real competition amongst the other contestants of the same sex, David Archuleta will be the winner of American Idol this year.
David Archuleta is a sweet, charming guy from Salt Lake City, Utah. He has been singing for most of his childhood, and has been in several talent shows before American Idol. He has grace and personal style, he has a friendly and positive appearance, but most of all he has an astonishing voice.
How can anyone already predict the winner of American Idol this year? To find the answer one must look at the facts that are already on the table. The winner must reach out to a broad group of audience, the winner should have the judges on their side, and the winner must have an obvious future career in music.
David Archuleta has already taken America with storm, the judges praise him excessively and he has great potential. The truth be told, even if David does not come out as the winner he will still be a big success in the music business.
The following factors could possibly stand in the way of him winning American Idol season 7, although very unlikely. Number one is that everyone thinks that everyone else is voting for him, so since he is "safe", they'll vote for their second favorite contestant. In this case chances are he'll be a "wild card" later on, so he'll come back regardless. Number two is that he makes horrible performances in the next shows, causing him to lose his fan base. This is however hardly unlikely judging from his previous performances. The last thing that could stop David Archuleta to win American Idol is that he faces problems dealing with his newly found fame, resulting in a complete change of character (compare Britney Spears). This might very possibly happen, but it will probably happen in the Idol aftermath.
Everything considered, the winner of American Idol season 7 will be David Archuleta.

How many American Idols are actually listened to besides Kelly Clarkson? You must not listen to country music, Carrie Underwood has had hit after hit. (btw, I'm not a fan of Ms. Underwood's) My daughter calls the country music stations "all Carrie, all the time".
David A appeals to a vast audience across all age groups. It is always a telling sign when comments from fans of other Idol Contestants become more vitrolic againsst true, phenonmenal talent. The more acerbic the comment, the greater the fear that David A will win.
I agree with the last post. David Cook has got what it takes! Archuletta is good but i couldnt see myself walking down the street with my ipod and listening to his music. He hasnt performed anything that has made me really excited. Cook on the other hand always makes me smile. He not only knows how to sing and compose but he can PERFORM. I see him selling more albums and creating better music worth listening too.
To be honest how many american idols are actually listened to regularly besides possibly Kelly Clarkson... David could make it :D
