David Archuleta's Dolly Parton Cover was Beautiful on American Idol
David Cook will give him a run for his money though. He has the ability to perform rock and ballads and has the stage presence that comes from more years
experience. He appeals to the rock community and has from the beginning. There is something about him that makes me tune in every week.
Davod Archuleta has a beautiful voice. Every week I have enjoyed his singing, but he has not surprised me the way Cook has with his arrangements.
The other singer that I think has a strong chance is the dark horse in this race, Michael Johns. Johns has great appeal. He is attractive and has the ability to sing blues, rock and ballads. He has the strength of being a seasoned performer and I enjoy him very much.
Every week has been tough to pick a winner as the men are so strong. I don't think the women will be standing at the end. They are good but not stunning. Other than Smithson I am left feeling very bland about their singing.
I think a man will win American Idol this year.

Post a CommentI think you're right about a man winning it this year. This seems to be a very bad year for females.
I feel that David A.'s personality does in fact shine through during his performances. He wants to make the world a better place and truly believes he can. He's amazingly inspirational for such a young person. I don't find David C. as impressive as everyone else does. Michael Johns is definitely my second favorite after David A. Michael has got the versatility and personality that David C. lacks. The whole rock thing - been there, done that. Next! I would love to see David A., Michael, and Brooke in the final three. The latter despite her rambling on and on sometimes ;)
Cook surprised you with HIS arrangements? They're not HIS arrangements so stop giving him credit for that. He may have rocked it but he's still unoriginal. No fault of his though. Why arrange it yourself when you can go online to find better arrangements that people will most likely compliment you for being original? Evidence in hand.
