David Arquette Dismissed from 'Dancing with the Stars'
Commentary Plus Four Fabulous Performance Links
Personally, I think David Arquette was prematurely voted off Dancing with the Stars this week (week seven). He was not the lowest scoring dancer and he has been showing continuous improvement in his dancing skills. I would have liked to see David have another week on Dancing with the Stars. But America has spoken with their votes and they clearly want to see Nancy Grace have another week and so she shall. Both Nancy and David have come a long way in their dancing this season and I wish them both all the best. Farewell David! We'll miss seeing you every week on Dancing with the Stars!
As a salute to David Arquette, here are links to my favorite four of his Dancing With the Stars performances.
Favorite David Arquette Dancing With the Stars Performance
David has a fantastic fun loving personality. I didn't know that much about him prior to the show but every episode endeared him to me more and more. I'll miss him and wish him all the best in his future pursuits. I am so proud of him for getting clean and working hard to be a great dad to his daughter. Because of that I think my favorite of his dances was his rumba from week three, which was dedicated to his daughter. I suspect that it was his most emotional dance and it was, to me, his best dance. You can see it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C1g3IJFP49c .
Second Favorite David Arquette Dancing With the Stars Performance It was nice seeing David all dressed up for the Viennese waltz and he did a great job of playing the romantic lead in this beautiful dance which you can see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7sTmn7QWGw.
Third Favorite David Arquette Dancing With the Stars Performance
I thought the frightfully fun Halloween costumes were perfect for their week seven dance and it was a fun performance to watch. It's not often you see a cha cha to Abracadabra and they made it entertaining. You can see it here: http://abc.go.com/shows/dancing-with-the-stars/video-detail/performances/pl_PL5520946/vd_VD55150823 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j-xwf5Pp78E.
Fourth Favorite David Arquette Dancing With the Stars Performance
It was difficult to choose between the leather costumed tango and the Indiana Jones inspired dance but the tango won out, ever so slightly. It was engaging and I love the camaraderie between David Arquette and Kym Johnson. You can see the dance here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbFBg5mf3Hc .

Post a CommentThank you Jack :)
I can't watch this show so this is a great review for me. I must say that he surely impressed a lot of people, including you.
Thank you Melissa, Mike and Lee. Looking forward to tonight's show :)
I think he was making good progress. Nancy won't be on much longer I don't think.
Excellent recap, thanks!
He's a funny guy!
Thank you Michele and Julie.
Sure hope you get power back soon Michele! Will say a prayer for you.
iwas very surprised...i think he is a better dance than the soccer player and i think she should be next
Hi Phyllis, thanks for the update - we've had no power, TV, phone or Internet (and no heat!) for 3+ days since the storm hit the Northeast. I'm just getting sporadic service now. We really missed so much this past few days - but heat and hot water were on the top of the list! cheers :)
