David Arquette on Howard Stern: 'I Had Sex with a Girl [During Separation]' (AUDIO)

David Arquette was on the Howard Stern Show on Tuesday, telling the entire world about his split from wife of eleven years, Courteney Cox. Courteney Cox and David Arquette, who say they are "separated" but not divorcing just yet, have been married for over a decade, and have a young daughter named Coco. When David Arquette was on Howard Stern Tuesday, he spoke candidly about his and Courteney's rocky relationship during the trial separation, as well as their marital and individual sex lives.

David Arquette, on Howard Stern yesterday, shared openly (perhaps a bit too openly) that his marriage to Courteney Cox has been a sexless one for months, and he has been encouraged by his wife to do "what he needs to" for his own sex drive. David Arquette on Howard Stern: 'I had sex once with a girl....maybe twice.'

Just after the Courteney Cox and David Arquette split was announced, it seems David Arquette thought of more to say than what was in the couple's joint-issued statement. David Arquette, on Howard Stern for all the world to listen, explained that while this split was merely a "separation", not the beginning of divorce proceedings, he and his wife haven't had sex in four months.

David Arquette also revealed on Howard Stern Tuesday that he had sex with "a girl" (a woman, presumably) once, but moments later added,, "maybe twice". When XM Sirius radio host Howard Stern asked David Arquette if he was referring to "this girl in the papers", Arquette confirmed.

When Howard Stern asked David Arquette about rumors wife Courteney Cox was cheating on him with her Cougartown co-star, David said he confronted her and she denied it. David went on to say he believes his wife, explaining "I don't think she ever had an affair with Brian." However, Arquette did say he felt things got a bit too "emotional" between the pair.

With David Arquette on Howard Stern (audio here) telling everyone her business, it's curious to wonder what Courteney think of all this. According to David, Courteney expressed, 'I want you to be able to do whatever you have to do'. This remark was apparently regarding David, other women and sex. Sounds like a pretty detached sort of sentiment, and if Courteney is as "emotional" as he says, that level of detachment isn't likely to heal itself. Though Arquette held out hope to work out his marriage, Howard Stern put in his own two cents, saying essentially "I don't think this is going to work out".
