David Carradine's Death Accident or Murder?

Was David Carradine's Death a "sex Accident" or Murder?

Karen Bishop
There continues to be speculation and rumor surrounding the death of David Carradine. One cause of death, suicide, has been ruled out. This leaves everyone wondering was his death an accident or a murder set up to like an accident?

David Carradine's brothers, Keith and Robert Carradine, recently released a video statement saying an independent autopsy determined that their brother did not commit suicide.

David Carradine's family hired a forensics expert, Dr. Michael Baden, to do a second autopsy. Dr. Baden is the former Chief Medical Examiner of New York City and is currently the chief forensic pathologist for the New York State Police.

Dr. Baden conducted the second autopsy after David Carradine's body arrived in California from Bangkok early last week. Dr. Baden states "There are certain findings of the autopsy that would indicate that it's not a suicide."

Keith and Robert Carradine thanked everyone for the flood of love and sympathy the family has received since the death of David Carradine. They, along with the rest of the world, are waiting until the results of the investigation are in to answer the biggest question of all, what was the cause of David Carradine's death?

Press reports say the Thai police have interviewed hotel staff and reviewed surveillance footage of the hallways near David Carradine's room. The lead investigator stated no one entered his room before he died and foul play has been ruled out. They state they are now ruling his death a "sex accident."

This statement comes from the same police who said they were ruling David Carradine's death a suicide. Should anyone believe the latest statement from them? It seems the Thai police keep changing their conclusions to reflect the current details.

David Carradine's family questions the Thai police's latest conclusion. They believe there is evidence of foul play pointing out that he could not have tied his own wrists together. This fact seems to point toward murder rather than a "sex accident."

Robert Dunlap, a filmmaker who made a documentary about people engaging in deviant sexual practices, states his own doubts that David Carradine's death was a "sex accident." He told ABCNews.com "This doesn't look like a solo act at all." He goes on to say if David Carradine had been engaging in this particular act, his hands would need to be free.

The results from the Thai autopsy will not be back for another three weeks leaving time for speculation and rumor to grow. Will the truth of David Carradine's death ever be known? The world can only wait and watch as this case develops.

I'd lean towards autoeroticism, previous women have said he was involved in that...but if the cops keep changing their minds and it was murder, i doubt they'll figure it out, lol.

Don't know what to say about this one. Hmmm?

Saw your response to me below, Karen. By the way, here's some info about autoeroticism regarding males and their wrists (to help differentiate between victimization or accidental death): if bruising on the wrists appears near the thumbs, he tied himself. If bruising occurred on the outside of the hands, closer to the pinkies, it was against his will.

    So sad!

His death is a real shame. I hope they check and double for foul play. I'm old enough to remember the first episode of Kung Fu; it was so cool.

Sounds like he had company whether it was fun gone wrong or something more sinister.

They didn't say exactly Radell. When I read about it, I had thought they may have been tied in front of him, but they could just as easily have been behind him. I'm keeping an eye out for that particular detail.

Great job on this, Karen! I see they are now moving in the direction I mentioned "autoeroticism." Were his hands tied behind the back or in front, according to police reports or articles you have read?
