David Cook from American Idol Rushed to Hospital

According to TMZ.com, David Cook of American Idol was rushed to the hospital after his performance on April 1st. He was having heart palpitations and had elevated blood pressure. The Medical Staff tried to make him go to the hospital before the show was over but he refused. He wanted to do his performance first. He was released from the hospital after he was given medication for his high blood pressure. Doctors will be monitoring him. Sources revealed that he was at the Hotel and doing well. It was reported that David Cook was undergoing increased stress caused by his Brother having to fight Cancer.

In my opinion, I think that David Cook is one of the better performers on American Idol. I don't think that this will slow him down much. I think that he will be watched closely so hopefully he won't have another episode. He was one of my favorites from the start and I continue to enjoy his performances. He seems like a fighter to me. I have a feeling he will make it through this. I just don't want him to over exert himself. I think that even if he has to leave, someone will pick him up and he will be recording.

If his condition worsens is all that can stop this young man. I am going to stick by what I see in him. It is very unfortunate that life is handing him some challenges but he also is being handed a great opportunity. Everyone has to go through some challenges, from my experience they just made me stronger. He is an outstanding performer and he shines when he sings. I don't think it will be too long before we see him on a CD.
