David Cook's Brother Adam Sadly Dies of Brain Cancer
The official website is asking for thoughts and prayers and words of encouragement. It even offers a link to YouTube video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmizGmyc6Hw where you can watch David Cook speak at the Race For Hope. At the 2:30 minute mark David Cook talks about losing his brother Adam Cook to a brain tumor yesterday. But still David had the heart and courage to attend the race and keep raising money for the charity that deeply affected him so personally. I think it's an amazing tribute to his brother Adam Cook that he indeed found a way to show up for the charity event.
The fight against this deadly and horrible disease will not have a better ambassador and someone who will help raise more money. I look forward to watching David Cook in the future helping out in the fight against all kinds of cancer as well as his music, which is terrific.
