First up is Dawn Antibacterial Green Apple liquid dish detergent. Dawn antibacterial is ultra concentrated so you can use less product and achieve more bubbles at the same time. Most people do not know that using too much soap, bleach and detergent is bad for the septic system, assuming they have a septic system. Dawn Antibacterial Green Apple liquid dish detergent smells really pleasant, it provides a lot of bubbles and will get your dishes really clean. I personally purchased the 28 fluid ounce bottle and I am not exaggerating when I say it has lasted me for over four months now. I paid less than three dollars for this bottle of liquid dish detergent and I have been thrilled with how well it cleans even the greasiest dishes. It is effective and long lasting! I love the cleaning power and the fragrance! I have heard that some people have not been as pleased with Dawn products if they have hard water, because this liquid dish detergent will not bubble as well in hard water. I however really like this product and would recommend it to others any day of the week!
I have also used Joy non ultra antibacterial in the fragrance of orange. I purchased a 16 fluid ounce bottle for less than a dollar. I have not been as pleased with this product. It does not create as many bubbles and it does not clean as effectively as Dawn in my opinion. It does smell good and it does get your dishes clean with a little more elbow grease. I don't think it is a bad product, but I also don't think it is as great as Dawn. A 16 fluid ounce bottle of non ultra Joy Antibacterial lasts me for around a month, which is not that long really. I end up using a lot more of this liquid dish detergent to achieve the clean I desire when it comes to my dishes.
I would recommend Dawn Antibacterial over Joy Antibacterial any day. It is a better bargain and a more effective cleaner, a bottle will last much longer and it will get your dishes clean without half of the effort.
