When my kids were little
And they were being bad,
I never hit them, did time out
Or threatened them with Dad!
And they were being bad,
I never hit them, did time out
Or threatened them with Dad!
I just held my breath,
Then I'd count to ten,
Then wish on them the Mother's Curse -
That someday I'd get even.
What's the Mother's Curse you ask?
I'll tell you and it's true...
"When you grow up and you have kids,
I hope they're just like you!"
So married now,
With kids of their own,
To drive them to distraction!
And in their ear; I know they hear,
My words coming back to haunt them!

Post a CommentI loved this, how cute!!!
This is great! One of my faves from you.
Funny, and so true! I recently read on my daughter's Facebook where she said to someone, "I can't believe I'm hearing my mother's words coming out of my mouth."
Hilarious, LOL! x LOL!
HAHAHAHAHA! Great! As a mom of five who used to think the same thing, I can totally relate. Against odds we only have one grandchild & she's unbelievably well-behaved, but tons of fun for her granny! Gotta give my daughter credit for doing something right. (Of course, Zoe hasn't hit her teens yet... mwaahaaahaaaaaa!)
LOL my mom tells me this all the time..I suppose I will find it to be true when I have youngsters.
Are you friends with my mother? God bless!
LOL! Good one!! :)
