I'm going--on my train to yesterday
The tracks are heavy laden with my dreams
The smoke that rises, thick with memories
And all the trees are branching out to me
The tracks are heavy laden with my dreams
The smoke that rises, thick with memories
And all the trees are branching out to me
The day is done and I am gone away
My coffee black, my pillow drowned in cream
My suitcase packed with reminiscent teas
And all the sea is pouring onto me
The sun is drowned-the moon comes out to play
The stars are vast, an inky endless sea
My ship sails on, and I am wild and free
And all the world is sinking into me
