Days of Our Lives May Sweeps 2011 Spoilers and Speculation

May sweeps, sees Days of our Lives storylines take some interesting twists and turns, all in the name of ratings, which by all accounts have been abysmal for Days of our Lives recently, hitting record low ratings in a number of demographics.

Ted Corday, Days of our Lives executive producer previewed a fairly detailed preview of May 2011 sweeps month in soap opera digest last month, so if you don't like spoilers, read no further. Sami and Rafe Reunite

After being nursed back to health by local nuns, Rafe discovers his key opens a nearby apartment. He finds Sami there also, and the Sami and Rafe reconnect where it all started.

Real Rafe becomes Fake Rafe

EJ and Stefano are hoodwinked and viewers get to watch Galen Gering's delightful performance of Fake Rafe for a little while longer.

Bo Goes Lawless

In helping Sami and Rafe bring Fake Rafe, EJ and Stefano to justice, Bo works outside the law. Probably the influence of his ex-con wife...

EJ and Nicole - Divorce?

As foreshadowed in April, EJ asks Nicole for a divorce which Nicole sees coming since she witnessed Taylor and EJ in a lip lock in the last week of April. Nicole, however, wins the day, blackmailing him with her knowledge of the Rafe switch.

Taylor Heartbroken and Betrayed

Taylor finally conceded she could no longer deny loving EJ at the end of April. She is due for heartbreak though when instead of announcing their divorce, EJ and Nicole go on a honeymoon!

Brady targets EJ

Brady vows to make EJ pay for Arianna's death (Troy, EJ's drug dealer, was the hit and run driver that killed Ari). Maybe Taylor and Brady can find common ground in their need for revenge against EJ?

The Other Hernandez's '" Gabi and Dario

Gabi hits relationship woes when she and Will try to take their relationship to the next level. Will cannot make love to his girlfriend. This rumor is fuelling further speculation that Will Horton will feature as one half of Days of our Lives' touted first gay romance.

And Dario? Who cares? He and Melanie can go run petty cons together somewhere other than Salem for all this viewer cares.

Jennifer and Daniel, Carly and Drugs

Jennifer and Daniel begin to date and Carly realizing the two are becoming closer relies more and more on drugs to get her through at the perceived loss of Daniels support.

Chloe and the Hunk

Chloe gets picked up by new Salem Hunk Quinn at the Cheatin' Heart, her new watering hole, who either mistakes her for a lady of the night and leaves her a huge wad of cash (which according to Justin she needs, though he suggested she go for alimony from Daniel and Maggie suggested a job) or he's actually a pimp and is recruiting Chloe for his stable of high priced hookers. Either way, Chloe is rumored to fall for the guy.
