Valentine's Day Date Idea's

Kenzy England
If you're like my man, you've already started thinking about what would make the perfect Valentine's Day date. You want to impress your woman with something unique and amazing but you're not sure what to do or where to go. Use this guide as a stepping stone to help you create the perfect night out.

Medieval Times: Located at 2020 Stemmons in Dallas, Medieval Times offers a four-course dinner presided by King Phillipe and Princess Leonore, his daughter-in-law. The show is amazing and comes to you right out of the 11th Century. You and your date will be swept away in time to a "romantic snow rendezvous in the woods" and an authentic medieval tournament.

Tickets may be purchased online or at the door. It's recommended that you purchase your tickets and make reservations as early as possible.

You may call Medieval Times to make reservations at (214)761-1800.

Schedule:
Sundays 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday 7:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday 8:00 p.m.

Price: Adults $44.95 per person

MD Resort Bed & Breakfast: Another idea for an amazing Valentine's Day date is spending it at the MD Resort Bed and Breakfast. They have several different options available depending on what you want.

MD Resort's Ultimate Valentine Getaway Package will run you $897.00. The price includes a two-night stay in either the Magnolia or Yellow Rose Suites, one dozen roses, renewal of vows or a couples massage, breakfast served in your suite during your stay, a king-sized bed, as well as a
two-person jacuzzi.

Also included in this package is a romantic, candle lit dinner for two consisting of your choice of steak or chicken, baked potatoes, tossed salad, dessert, iced tea, sparkling cider, a complimentary glass of white or red wine, and dancing.

Other packages are available if you're on a budget, and who isn't these days? Their Romantic Valentine Dinner For Two (described above) is just $97.00. They require a 24-hour advance notice for dinner.

It is recommended that you make your reservations in advance. Call MD Resort at (817)489-5150.

Murder Mystery Texas: If you and your date like murder mysteries, head over to the Omni Dallas Park West, 1590 LBJ Freeway at Luna Road, for the Murder Mystery Texas Valentine event.

The basic package will run you $94.00 per person and includes dinner, drink ticket, play, dancing to the Golden Oldies of the 1950's, prizes, taxes, tips, and a cash bar.

If you prefer to stay over, the deluxe package is available for an additional $130.00 per couple.

Dress Code Requirements:
Men are required to wear a suit and tie; cocktail hour attire is required for the ladies, that is unless you will be participating in the Best Male and Female 1950's costume contest.

When: Saturday, February 13, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m.

Don't forget the flowers!
Guys, forget the candy but don't forget to give your special someone a dozen of her favorite flowers - they don't necessarily have to be red roses, so long as they are her favorite flower. She'll think the world of you for being so sweet and thoughtful.
