DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt

Season 10 of Smallville on the CW is just around the corner. It looks likely that season 10 will be Smallville's final season (although we've heard that more times than we've heard Brett Favre "retire"). It seems the CW isn't quite done with the DC Comics universe though. Rumors are that the CW is looking for another comic book to take Clark Kent's place in a few years. These are a few suggestions for DC Comics characters that the CW should adapt on the small screen.

DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt: Teen Titans
For those of you that watch Smallville out of nerd loyalty but aren't into the other teen shows I will have to be the bearer of bad news. Unfortunately the CW is still a network for teens and it would be wise to appease that fan base. The Teen Titans are a Justice League-like superhero group except they are made up of teens.

DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt: Birds of Prey
There was a Birds of Prey television program once before but that was before the whole comic book adaptation craze. Ten years later Birds of Prey has a lot more potential if the show is handled by the right people.

DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt: The Question
The Question is a mysterious detective that discovers conspiracies and fights against corruption. The Question would have to be more serious and dark than the other choices so it might not be the best fit on the CW, but The Question could definitely make for a good TV program.

DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt: Zatanna
Zatanna is a tricky one. Zatanna is magical character in the DC Universe. If done correctly then Zatanna could be a good program to put back to back with Vampire Diaries so all the Harry Potter and Twilight fans will have a night of television. On the other hand, if a TV show about magic can't pull off the magic special effects then it would be a trainwreck.

DC Comics Characters that the CW Should Adapt: Nightwing
For those of you not familiar with the comic book world, Nightwing is the current identity of the original Robin, Dick Grayson. Nightwing is now all grown up and is now a superhero on the level of Batman but without all the vigilante tendencies. I'm surprised nobody has done a Nightwing movie or TV show. The TV show could focus on Nightwing's current career but also show flashbacks to when he was training as Robin (sans the outfit) with Batman, who could just be a shadowy figure in the flashbacks.

Great Article, I agree I would love to see a Nightwing movie and television show. Love the ideas of them showing flashback to his days with the Dark Knight! It would be great to see the grown up Dick Grayson on the big or small screen.
